Our client is seeking a passionate Tax Specialist (Director level) to assist their clients navigate the complex cross-border tax regulations worldwide. With operations in Canada and China, they have now set up a new base in Singapore to further enhance their cross-border tax and financial consulting service.

This person should have excellent knowledge of tax laws and federal regulations, ensuring the accuracy of tax statements, and filing it accurately and efficiently. Requirements:

• Good knowledge of cross-border international taxation and financial planning (with particular focus within the Chinese, American and Canadian region)
• High degree of accuracy and attention to details

Your new role
This is a Midlands based Corporate Tax Senior Manager role within the specialist compliance and reporting team servicing multinational inbound and UK listed groups.

You will be responsible for advising on tax efficiencies, corporate tax compliance management and tax advisory such as corporate restructuring, governance and strategy and capital projects. You will provide reviews of asset base and strategy of companies to maximise tax incentives such as capital allowance and research and development regimes.

You will play a role in co-ordinating overseas and remote teams for projects and have the opportunity to get involved with tax software development including technical research improvement, if this is something of interest to you.

What you'll need to succeed
As a Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you will be client focused and strategically and commercially aware with strong UK tax technical skills. Your client relationship skills and your ability to lead and sustain effective teams will be used to the full. You will be experienced in range of tax technical areas including BEPS, deferred tax and tax depreciation.

Your new role
Within your new role, you will be working on high profile and market leading transactions - of up to £20 billion. You will support younger members of the team and ensure all work is complete to the highest standard in a timely manner. What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have previous experience and good understanding of Transactional Tax. Knowledge of Infrastructure Tax is preferred but not essential. You will have experience of managing staff and enjoy working with a team of people.
