GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The CRO division develops and oversees the global framework for risk identification, control, reporting, and management within the risk tolerance for the various business activities for Julius Baer, aiming at sustainable growth of the franchise. Job description & Responsibilities:

• Possess a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in data analysis, user/business requirements analysis and enhancement, data analytics and visualization.
  • Proactively communicate with business users, understand business requirements to enhance our investment strategies and/or policies.
  • Perform data wrangling procedures to melt/reshape/pivot data frames for analytics purposes.
  • Handle data analysis of structured and/or unstructured data for research purposes to model visualization, and evaluation of model performances.
  • Provide Proof Of Concept (POC) analysis to validate and verify investment strategy ideas.
  • Work directly with databases to query data for research purposes, where required.
  • Experience in Python or R, SQL is an added advantage.
  • Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resourceful in finding simple ways to solve problems.
  • Experience in developing APIs, or frontend development in ReactJS is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of using formulas/macros in Excel is an added advantage.
  • Experience in economics/finance related courses is preferred.
  • Experience in Tableau is preferred an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes, with experience in an ITIL based environment.
  • Good problem solving, analytical, written and communication skills.
  • Review and validate data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and missing information in datasets.
  • Conduct data quality assessments and report on data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and address data quality issues.
