Work You'll Do
Finalix consultants combine hands-on industry experience with an analytical and adaptable mindset to deliver instant value to their clients.
The company focuses on digitalisation and transformation projects, covering key senior roles on the business side as product owners, SMEs and stream leads.
You will support the development of our Singapore branch through high-quality delivery on client engagements. Client engagements are various, but usually encompass the following:
- Build, grow, and steward client relationships. Assist in client satisfaction and maintaining a strong client relationship through delivery excellence.
- Facilitate stakeholders through decisions, consulting them, and influencing them.
- Bring deep industry expertise in digital banking/insurance, pioneering banking/insurance transformation across business, operations, and technology.
- Provide innovative ideas with our clients to explore disruptive strategies that create business value.
- Identify and recommend innovative solutions which leverage emerging technologies and solutions, but which are pragmatic, implementable.
- Contribute to team development, effectiveness, and success by sharing knowledge and good practice, working collaboratively with others to create a productive, diverse, and supportive working environment
- Develop and recommend changes and improvements to operating models, procedures and practices based on subject matter expertise and understanding of the client specificities and market best practice
- Coach the development of junior consultants by actively guiding them
When not fully assigned to a project you also help on the internal development through business development initiatives, recruitment, and people management.
You follow training and do sector watch to sharpen your skillset and knowledge as well.
What We Are Looking For
Required:
- An excellent University BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in either Management Consulting and/or within the Financial Services Industry (Investment Banking, Wealth Management, Core Banking Services, or Insurance)
- Candidates with 5 – 10 years of relevant experience may be considered for a non-managerial position
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, and constantly changing environment and eager to embrace the Finalix culture
- Excellent written and verbal executive-level communications
- Strong analytical skills, superior problem-solving and critical thinking skill
- Experience and motivation to manage, coach and mentor junior team members
Preferred:
- Ability to put together compelling PowerPoint slides that are "client-ready"
- Proven consulting skills and experience of working in large complex environments delivering engagements in some of the areas noted above
- Certifications in Agile project management methodologies and/or strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, other)
- Experience presenting to clients or other decision-makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
