• Develop Embedded software in C, C++ for 32-bit microcontrollers
• Develop and change-manage various levels of software requirements for medical devices (System and Module level)
• Work with stakeholders to identify and assess product risks (frequency, certainty, severity, and mitigations). Must have the ability to think clearly to root causes and make logical decisions.
• Should have the ability to recommend, convince, and implement the most pragmatic solutions.
• Evaluation and select system hardware and software architectures, designs, and parts.
• Ensure that they support all clinical/functional, operational, & financial requirements as well as overall product quality. Make definite recommendations and decisions via trade-off analyses.
• Involve in all aspects of software development cycle for medical devices in accordance with IEC62304
• When assigned, define architecture of the software, involve in risk assessment and failure mode analysis, develop code, review test plans and V&V results.
• Working knowledge of PCBA design, reading EE Schematics, understanding 3D product models and work with the hardware engineering team
• Working with internal and external partners including marketing & product management, systems engineering, project management, hardware engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, QA/RA, V&V teams
• Drafting requirements for external suppliers and tracking the deliverables to closure

Requirements

• Bachelors/Masters in Software or Electronics Engineering or related discipline
• Must have experience in launching at least 1 product from concept to commercialization
• Extremely hands-on in rigging up systems to make the software run/test the software
• Solid hands on understanding of RTOS, full stack working knowledge of I2C, SPI, CAN, UART, USB including debugging.

The Kostas Research Institute (KRI) at Northeastern University (NU) – a rapidly growing institute that conducts cutting-edge applied R&D – is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Research & Development (R&D) Engineer with expertise in Software Engineering. The Senior R&D Engineer is expected to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the successful execution of R&D projects.

Responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise and technical contributions as a software engineer for a wide range of projects requiring computing systems design and realization, including machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) applications, autonomy, cognitive and distributed sensing and communication, advanced manufacturing, and decision support systems, among others. The Senior R&D Engineer will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams across the KRI consortium, consisting of academic and industry partners, to create solutions and prototypes for projects in these application areas.

Successful candidates will be responsible team leaders, passionate about cutting-edge/emerging computer hardware and software technologies, possess a deep understanding of software architectures and experience in turning such technologies into practical, state-of-the-art systems. A close working relationship with and support of KRI Senior R&D Engineers/Scientists for government and industry contracts will be required.

Objective:The Science Laboratory Support Personnel, deployed by the Contractor, will contribute to the effective functioning of Ang Mo Kio Primary School's Science Laboratory. The primary objective is to provide comprehensive support to teachers, ensuring a conducive environment for science experiments and related activities.

• Base Period: 1 Mar 2024 to 29 Feb 2025Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays: 7 am to 2 pm

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare Science Laboratory Resources:

• Organize and prepare science resources for teachers conducting experiments.

• Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the science laboratory after experiments.
• Manage and maintain an inventory of science laboratory resources.

2. Support Learning Trails and Activities at Eco-Garden:
