Role Summary

The APAC Regional Compliance Director will join a developing, dynamic, and talented Global Ethics and Compliance team and advise the business on relevant ethics and compliance topics and issues. This position reports to the Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer.

About the role

• Responsible for overseeing the provision of advice to the businesses and functions on ethics and compliance initiatives
• Embed a strong culture of ethics and compliance in the APAC Region including promoting a Speak Up culture.
• Collaborate with the CECO to develop the strategic direction of the E&C program for the APAC Region, including developing, maintaining, and constantly improving the program
• Help the business integrate Ethics and Compliance into its daily management and strategic planning
• Provide timely, accurate and pragmatic advice to relevant stakeholders in the APAC Region on a range of E&C issues, including working with government officials, use of third parties, due diligence issues, international trade regulations, etc.
• Ensure alignment of the regional plan with global E&C priorities and sharing of standard processes
• Provide guidance on compliance-related matters, and builds and maintains strong working relationships across all functions and levels of the organization
• Support compliance training and communications, including tailoring content, audience identification, training delivery, and completion tracking
• Conduct risk assessments and monitoring activities in the APAC Region
• Third party risk management – liaise with the business to ensure timely and accurate due diligence/economic sanctions/KYC screening of third parties
• Executes on additional projects and workstreams as required to develop and mature the company’s Ethics & Compliance Program
• Manage and mentor a team of ethics & compliance professionals in the APAC region

About You

• JD or equivalent preferred
• Substantial experience (10+ years) in managing ethics and compliance programs and/or equivalent strategic advisory experience in key ethics and compliance areas such as Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Anti-Money Laundering, International Trade Regulations, Conflicts of Interest, Fraud, Due Diligence and third-party management.
• Deep understanding of ABC law and practice, together with an ability to apply that knowledge to complex and sensitive scenarios.
• Self-confidence to take a firm stand and able to seek solutions to complex issues

• Gather the timing of local statutory audits for all the legal entities under QIMA Partners Limited, and ensure the lists are updated on a regular basis.
• Design and formulate the timeline of the local statutory audits in alignment with Group Annual Audit.
• Lead the process for the statutory audit by timely coordinating with the legal entities and ensuring all legal entities under QIMA Partners Limited are completed and compiled.
• Lead the management of Group Audit from the group perspective and collaboratively work with the businesses and process owners to ensure that the requirements are gathered and submitted on time.
• Liaise with External Auditor to ensure that the Group Audit status is updated correctly and communicated to the relevant recipients.
• Liaise with Local and 3rd Party Advisors handling the Local, Statutory and Tax compliance for entities without local finance in the country to ensure that compliance requirements are prepared and submitted on time.
• Review, manage and recommend if the 3rd party engagement contracts be continued, amended and/or terminated based on the relationship with the Group and their ability to deliver the scope of work as per the contracts.
• Actively seek standardization and automation, apply and implement best practices for managing Group Audit and Local, Statutory and Tax compliance and deploy innovative technology where possible to enhance and continuously improve the design and operating effectiveness of the controls, documentation, assessments and review procedures.
• Develop and conduct adequate training and prepare related information material on the Group Audit and Local, Statutory and Tax compliance for business continuity purposes.
• Keep the record of the 3rd party’s engagement fees, Penalties and Late Charges, and the Payment made for all the compliance requirements which can be used to assess trends of payments and penalties as well as the professional fees.

What you'll do

As a Platform Assurance Lead, you’ll be contributing to and managing the selection, creation and maintenance of infrastructure technologies required to meet the needs of our customers, ensuring alignment to the Chief Technology Office (CTO) strategic targets and architecture outcomes.

You’ll also be:

• Making sure the required work in the platform backlog contains detailed acceptance criteria, which ensures that operations support or warranty period is clear and accountable once a system migration is complete
• Responsible for the most complex and risk exposed technical infrastructures
• Producing and providing ongoing management of infrastructure roadmaps, detailing lifecycles of the technology from new products and versions, through to end of support and retirement
• Providing operational support to other infrastructure teams in the event of major incidents or complex technical issues
• Building and leveraging relationships with colleagues across the bank to make sure decisions made are commercially focused and create long term value for the organisation

The skills you'll need

To succeed in this role, you’ll need the ability to understand how your area of expertise supports customers, from the core development of technology to risk based decisions. On top of this, you’ll need a clear understanding of infrastructure layers or stack, and a broad knowledge across multiple platforms such as server, operating system, virtualisation, database, middleware or network.

Along with experience of contributing to roadmaps and strategies and working closely with third parties on assurance of their output and managing their performance, you’ll need the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to your peers and management level colleagues, with good collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

About the Role:

This a hands-on role where you will work with the rest of the development team and take ownership of the test deliverables for your respective scrum teams to ensure only the highest quality products make it out the door. We are interested in someone with a strong testing background and mindset, developed through years of testing experience and continuous education in the testing field.  Through Context Driven Testing, and applying Critical Thinking skills, you will help identify problems that could risk the value of the products and projects that we deliver. The role may be required to work outside core business hours to provide support for software releases and project implementations, as well as assist with the resolution of application issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain appropriate and relevant Testing Artefacts to form an integral part of the delivery methodology.
• Execute end-to-end testing activities, including functional, UI, backend, mobile, regression and non-functional testing, ensuring adherence to acceptance criteria and definition of done.
• Implement, expand, and maintain test automation frameworks that are fit for purpose with changing project needs.
• Drive the continuous improvement of how we use test automation in our products, focusing on speeding up various feedback loops that make it safe, fast, and effortless for us to deliver code all the way to production.
• Work in an advisor capacity to all members of the QA practice, supporting and Coaching QA team members with test execution.
• Perform basic log analysis to identify and address platform-related issues affecting product quality.
• Build strong relationships with development leads, QA teams, and management team, fostering a collaborative testing environment.
• Coordinate and oversee the work of other Test Analysts, offering mentoring and expertise on testing processes and methodologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, focusing on web and mobile applications.
• 2+ years of experience coordinating and overseeing other Test Analysts' work, including mentoring and providing testing expertise on test processes and best practices.
• Proficiency in implementing and maintaining test automation using Selenium, Java, and JavaScript, with mobile app cloud testing exposure.
• Experience in API automation using tools like RestAssured, Karate, and Postman.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or similar.
• Hands-on Test Automation experience using Android Studio, XCode, Cross-device testing, or similar, etc.
• Technical troubleshooting, including log file analysis and basic data analysis
• Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, facilitating efficient testing in cloud environments.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to engage in internal and external technical discussions.
• Great communication skills in the English language, with a good command of verbal and written.
• Ability to work under competing deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISTQB foundation testing certification or equivalent.
• Previous experience in coordinating testing activities over multiple release cycles.
