We are looking for driven individuals to be part of HSA’s Blood Resources Division- Blood bank team, where you will play a key role in securing the nations’ blood supply. In this front-facing role, the individual will perform essential blood collection support duties in a dynamic and close-knit team. You may be deployed to any of the blood bank sites in Singapore or Mobile Blood collection sites.

Responsibilities:-

• As a first point of contact with Donors at our blood collection centres, handle enquires, assist with next appointment bookings, and manage feedback accordingly.
• Perform registration duties which include registering donor for donation and phlebotomy linking.
• Conduct haemoglobin testing and capping which includes taking blood for haemoglobin test, explaining to donor on deferral if required, checking, sorting blood bags and sample tubes before passing it to the laboratory.
• Support blood collection team with necessary Operational Admin follow up duties.

Requirements:-

• Open to be rostered to support morning, afternoon and weekend shifts, across a 5-day work week and are not required to perform night shift.
• Applicants with recognised Phlebotomy skills and/or 2 year or more of working experience in similar settings will be considered for Senior Blood Professional Assistant positions
