• Provide direct manufacturing support as required during product start-ups and process modifications.
• Work with Process Engineers in troubleshooting all manufacturing problems and upsets.
• Work with OSP Process Engincers to anticipate and eliminate any process chemistry related issues.
• Work with Quality Control to develop the necessary documentation in support of any production changes or abnormal process operations to assure that all products meet all regulatory quality standards.
• Develop Process Validation Protocols
• Develop and implement productivity, cost and process capability improvements.

THE ROLE
Hours will be from 8 am – 4 pm weekdays with occasional optional weekend work. Some of our homeware pieces are heavy so we need the successful applicants to be fit, willing and able as most of the work is standing up. It's also a repetitive job.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Sanding:
Perform all tasks associated with the sanding of Homewares under the direction of the Production Managers and Supervisors
Prioritize work adhering to deadlines on all sanding jobs and special orders, keeping accurate tallies and communicating any foreseeable problems or delays
Assess regularly all sanding rejects, salvaging pieces that can be repaired
Assist with the daily cleaning of the sanding room

OH&S
Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety requirements, Studio and Company Policy procedures in the various work areas of the studio
Comply with OH&S requirements ensuring correct protection is worn at all times
Perform the appropriate stretches as required

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for equipment benchmarking, technical strategies, and technical roadmaps at Solar Cell manufacturing tools.

• Provide technical expertise and recommend technical solutions to the development and design of equipment to maximize overall equipment effectivenLess.

• Harmonize and standardize manufacturing equipment and solutions across all sites worldwide.

• Strong coordination and communication network with both local and overseas manufacturing sites

QUALIFICATIONS
