Responsibilities

Requirements

· Able to work under pressure and a good team player.

· Able to work independently and yet adhere to the strict timelines.

· Must be punctual, dependable and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

· Must be physically fit and strong as the job requires carrying of heavy events equipment.

· Able to work in a fast paced environment.

· Experience in the set-up of buffet events will be advantageous.

· Familiar with Singapore roads.

The role
As a Motor Transport Crew Leader, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll assist with management of Green Fleet equipment and support to Motor Transport department in all areas.

Day to day, you'll be 2nd in command to the team leader managing a fleet of 90 vehicles plus 20 pieces of plant equipment, you'll carry out regular checks of equipment and stores, ensure health and safety measures are being followed by the team, liaise with different departments regarding maintenance of the vehicles and assign drivers and vehicles to tasks.

• Drive, control, operate and maintain vehicles for which qualified
• Assist with the management of the Transport Green Fleet utilising the inhouse computer systems
• Ensure all Level 1 maintenance and repair tasks are carried out in accordance with authorised procedures and to the highest possible standard
• Carry out specific tasks associated with Duty Crew when rostered
• Ensure that employees are adequately trained/briefed prior to the task

This is a full time role based on site at Bovington.

Essential experience of the Motor Transport Crew Leader - Green Fleet:

• Proven experience in a previous supervisory role
• Competent IT user with experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Data bases)
• Good knowledge of health and safety
