Assures that appropriate safety procedures are followed on work sites.

Provides training and instruction to subordinates.

Provides significant input into regular and periodic performance reviews of subordinates.

Initiates workplace accident paperwork on the job site and forward to supervisor for investigation.

Keeps records of labor and materials through work management system. 

Reviews, verifies and approves subordinate time worked, approves timesheets and forwards to Timekeeper for processing.

Prepares detailed records and reports in a timely manner.

Required to respond under emergency condition.

Attends work on continuous and regular basis.

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

Keeping our plant clean and free from contamination is your focus – and it’s so important!  The Sanitation role ensures that assigned areas are properly cleaned using approved cleaning and sanitizing processes.  You will be responsible for completely cleaning and sanitizing our plant efficiently. We will ensure you have a master cleaning schedule/checklist and you are trained on standard operating procedures so that you can confidently and efficiently perform your duties and maintain food safety standards.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 

• Oversight and involvement in cleaning and sanitization processes for food manufacturing equipment and food manufacturing facilities 
• Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures
• Follow all company Sanitation standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleaning equipment and facility
• Complete all required sanitation and work order documentation

• Maintains the effectiveness of the quality system and adheres to all company GMPs and Safety policies

Responsibilities:

✅Communicate with vessel & teams to ensure safe & smooth vessel operation.

✅Manage vessel in accordance with international/local regulations

✅Conducts cost analysis & estimate costs for the vessel operation.

✅Solve issues such as accidents with members.

✅Conducts risk assessment and recommend solution for mitigations of risk.

✅Address queries and complaints throughout the vessel management.

Requirement:

• Degree in Marine navigation/Ocean Engineering or related field.
• Min 10 years of relevant experiences in ship management
• Experience in managing complex dredging and coastal engineering projects.
• Experience in development of statements of qualifications and proposals.
• Experience in managing a team.
• Able to communicate in Japanese to liaise with crew members
