Summary:

As a IT Security Engineer, you will provide IT security and vulnerability management support for a suite of business applications. • Responsible for IT Security portfolio of a for large scale IT infrastructure implementation project. Develop, implement, integrate, administer, maintain, and enhance enterprise security services, technologies, and platforms. This includes, but is not limited to Vulnerabilities Assessment, Penetration Testing, Privileged Access Management, Dynamic Access Management, Identity Governance & Administration, Endpoint Detection and Response, and etc.
• Building of policies to enforce controls to meet business use cases
• Develop and communicate policies, procedures, standards, and controls to enhance the user experience, manage risk, and to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements;
• Develop automation scripts for patching or automating security administration, monitoring or reporting tasks using Perl, Python, etc
• Conduct tracking of patch management activities from initial reporting of vulnerabilities / availabilities of patches to successful remediation for servers and network routers/switches.
• Perform Daily Check/Schedule of weekly/monthly automated or ad-hoc MVMS vulnerability scan of Applications, Servers and Network routers/switches status. Troubleshooting and re-activation/re-scheduling of scanning if fail.

• Identify security gaps, perform threat risk assessments in current setup and propose mitigating measures.
• Standardize and refine security incident response and escalation processes.
• Mitigate and contain threats when detected.
• Escalate security incidents and non-compliances on a timely basis.
• Monitor information security alerts triage, mitigate, and escalate issues as needed.
• Provide security advisory to end users on regular basis.
• IT Security Management of various aspect, e.g. network security, server security, application security, end point security, email security, physical access security, logical access security, etc.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science/Cyber Security or Engineering related fields.
• Professional Certification and at least 5 years’ hands on experience in routing & switching preferred CCNP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
• Hands on experience on one or more of the following skills as below:-
• Routing & Switching - Cisco / FortiSwitch / HP
• Firewall - Sophos / Fortigate / Palo Alto / Forcepoint
• WIFI AP - Ruckus / Aruba / Ubiquiti
• Willing to learn Work endpoint security, SIEM, secured remote access, MFA, Identity Access Management and Privileged Access Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Events Managment:

• Plan and execute various events for The Salvation Army, overseeing logistics and client relationships.
• Draft event proposals, coordinate speakers, entertainment, and manage requisitions.
• Analyze event metrics, conduct after-action reviews, and monitor progress and budget.

Marketing Communications:

• Implement PR strategies and campaigns, coordinating both online and offline communication.
• Support fundraising activities, conduct field interviews, and manage corporate communication functions.
• Oversee online channels, pitch media for stories and events, and manage vendors or agencies engaged in communication work.

Social Media:

• Increase followers and engagement across TSA social platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
• Maintain a social media calendar, brainstorm campaigns, and produce designed content.
• Coordinate social media efforts for centers, report on social trends, and handle ad-hoc tasks as needed

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing successful PR and marketing communication strategies.
• Strong writing and editing skills for various communication channels.
• Familiarity with media monitoring tools and techniques.
• Ability to conduct effective field interviews and coordinate media interactions.
• Proficient in managing online channels, including social media platforms.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Review and development of security framework, information security policies, processes / procedures and guidelines on an ongoing basis.
• Establish compliance with these policies / procedures through ongoing security reviews and audits, not limited to log analysis and security assessment of customer ICT systems
• Conduct security risk management exercise
• Conduct table-top exercises
• Conduct vulnerability assessment, coordinate penetration tests activities
• Conduct information security awareness training

• Lead and support customer in the matters of security incident resolution and response.
• Be the point-of-contact/customer liaison to assist and advise customer for ICT security related matters

A Little About You

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering and Information Systems
• 2-3 years experience in the area of security audit, compliance and security governance
• Strong understanding of information security principles, ISO 27001 and PCI Security Standard is preferred
• Good working knowledge of security risk management, security governance framework and compliance (IT Security Audit / log review), technical vulnerability management (Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration testing), application security, security technologies (system hardening, IDS/IPS, firewall), security incident response and security assessment.
