IT Audit and Compliance Manager

General:

● Ensures effective implementation of global IT controls for stabilization of overall control environment

● Leads Global Compliance team’s efforts in the areas of SOC 1 and SOC 2 standards

● Interfaces with external and client auditors as it pertains to the effectiveness of our IT control environment

● Acts as client-facing Lead IT consultant regarding various aspects of IT controls and Data Security

● Oversees the effectiveness of the IT controls infrastructure/architecture process, including standards, policies and procedures and creates/develops solutions to bring more efficiency to the business

● Responds to client inquiries pertaining to IT controls, Data Security, Incident Management and Certifications standards

Details:

• Maintain Alight’s Control Framework, report statuses and escalate findings and issues.
• Engage with External Auditors and Internal Stakeholders to support successful audit results.
• Conduct internal control monitoring and sample-based assessments/audits for regulatory (SOC, ISO, etc.) audit requirements.
• Support Management teams in client audit coordination and facilitation if required.
• Manage external audits of Alight’s global control framework for regulatory and standards audits.
• Trouble-shoot issues identified in control monitoring and support remediation efforts.
• Engage with local Operational and Quality resources to drive Compliance through local and functional units.
• Write and publish compliance dashboard reports to provide awareness and communicate compliance risks to management.
• Assist documenting and updating as appropriate, the Compliance policies, standards and processes ensuring these are up to date and regularly reviewed.
• Assists in planning, management, and execution of compliance projects.
• Contribute to procedures and processes to standardize and enhance compliance management.
• Work closely with operations and architecture functions, proposal team, and senior leadership team.
• Launch and monitor accuracy of deployed controls into GRC SNOW module on a monthly basis and manage ownership of controls based on inputs.
• Conduct Audit Compliance training to operational teams if requested.

On behalf of one of its clients in the creative industry, The French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore is recruiting an Account Manager/Marketing Consultant.

The company is looking for an account manager to assist the Strategy Director in managing retail and communication projects, build the prospection plan and tools. The successful candidate must be an approachable team player and be open-minded, interested in the design world.

He/she will work along with brands and retailers on creative and innovative solutions. Candidates should be able to efficiently and creatively contribute to an ambitious growth agenda.

Missions

• Managing and delivering day-to-day operational requirements of Clients on all projects
• Content creation & copywriting
• Proposing analysis of trends, Market research, benchmark on competition reports
• Assisting the creative team by synthesizing useful insights from different sources in consolidated presentations
• Participating in the design thinking approach and in the creation of inspirational design presentation to translate our work
• Owns the briefing process
• Managing development, negotiation, evaluation and recommendation of creative proposals
• Creating and maintaining project schedules to proactively identify risks and track milestones
• Ensure maintenance of agreements and organize documentation at all times
• Does regular competitive evaluation
• Foster great working relationships internally and externally

Requirements

• English: Fluent compulsory
• Ability to speak & write Mandarin or French would be a plus to liaise with Chinese/French customers
• 4-5 years experience in marketing, agency world or communication

Managing a diverse insurance portfolio of large complex risks within all commercial classes across the Mid-Market - Corporate space.
Focus on client retention and develop strategies for new business
Maintain key relationships with clients, underwriters + internal stakeholders.
Work closely with senior management to prepare health-checks, technical commentary + presentations
Taking a leadership position within the business and supporting the development of account executives and admins.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have:

Demonstrated experience managing a general Insurance portfolio
A strong understanding of commercial and general insurance
Excellent communication skills and written capability
Availability to work in the office based in Sydney CBD
Experience working across commercial classes

Main Roles & Responsibilities

• Undertake internal audits to ensure the company meets its financial, operational and compliance objectives.
• Identifies control issues that do not comply with the established procedures and guidelines.
• Liaise with Internal Audit Manager on any audit issues highlighted.
• Deliver work set out in the Internal Audit Plan.
• Complete other administration task as required by Audit Department.

Requirements

• Diploma / Pursing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or other related fields (Waiting for 'A‘ levels results are welcome to apply)
• Must be able to complete at least 3 months of internship
• Excellent technical audit and verification skills.
• Strong analytical, well developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Highly organized with strong organisation and planning skills, ability to prioritise tasks and deliver assigned audits in line with the audit plan.
