As a Security System Maintenance Manager, you will oversee the maintenance, operation, and optimization of various security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, fire alarms, and Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches.

You will be responsible for ensuring these systems are functioning efficiently and effectively to provide a safe and secure environment for the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance Oversight: Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all security systems, ensuring regular inspections and preventative maintenance are conducted.
   Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance tasks and equipment servicing.
   standby and Respond promptly to any system malfunctions or failures, troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions.
   
2. System Optimization: Continuously assess the performance of security systems and identify potiential faulty parts for improvement.
   Optimise and Recommend upgrades or enhancements to existing systems to enhance security and efficiency.
   Stay informed about advancements in security technology and make recommendations for adopting new technologies where appropriate.
   
3. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schedules, repairs, and upgrades.
   Generate reports on system performance, highlighting any trends or recurring issues. Minutues to record all communication, solutions and instruction from Client.
   Provide regular updates to management on the status of security systems and any recommended actions. Tender for Project, Site briefing, submit Quotation and Payment documenetations.
   
4. Team Management: Guide and Lead a team of technicians responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems.
   Provide training and guidance to team members on proper maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
   Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the team.
   
5. Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that all security systems comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
   Stay up-to-date on legal requirements related to security systems and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.
   

Requirements:

1. Education: Dilpoma or Degree in Security System, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications in security system maintenance and management are desirable. Safety Courses certified by WSH will be priority.
2. Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintaining and managing security systems, with a focus on CCTV cameras, access control systems, fire alarms, and PoE switches.
   Proven experience in troubleshooting complex technical issues and implementing effective solutions.
   
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring and maintaining CCTV camera systems, access control systems, fire alarm systems, and PoE switches.
   Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols, with the ability to manage networked security devices.
   Familiarity with relevant software and tools for system monitoring and maintenance.

During this accelerated summer internship, you will be working closely with experienced DSP engineers and assisting experienced Cyber engineers in designing, testing, and automating DSP algorithms and concepts for our projects. You can expect to grow in understanding of the various phases including receiver integration, testing development, programming automation, results analysis, and documentation. These phases will utilize many engineering skillsets introduced during undergrad including RF theory, programming, testing, validating, device integration, planning, and modeling and simulation.. The KBR NSS intern will be working closely with our experienced DSP engineers in designing, testing, and automating the equipment for this lab.

The intern work is within the Forensic Services Lab in West Point, PA which supports the Global Security Group in its mission to protect our company, our patients, and our people. Job Description

The Information Security intern is responsible for performing a variety of professional IT work at a growing Fortune 500 company to work in our IDS group. This internship is an opportunity that introduces aspiring cybersecurity professionals to the day-to-day operations of security within the company. Interns are exposed to frontline duties associated with cybersecurity practices and are introduced to the tools, processes, and capabilities of the cybersecurity team. The internship is a fantastic opportunity to learn firsthand how cybersecurity controls are implemented, managed, and enhanced across the business.

Working alongside one or more mentors, interns perform data collection, reporting, analysis, and remediation tasks. Interns also work with cybersecurity team members to understand security tools and capabilities, best practices, event, and incident response (IR) obligations. Interns provide support to the incident response team (IRT), security operations center (SOC), disaster recovery and other supporting security teams. To be effective, interns must have a general understanding of cybersecurity principles and concepts, as well as solid practical hands-on experience with computers.

• Working with technical mentors to provide support to key strategic projects, including incident response (IR), disaster recovery (DR) and threat and vulnerability management (TVM).
