Our Rehabilitation and Nursing Center offers short-term rehabilitation after surgery, serious injury or illness. We help patients with many different medical needs and conditions, including neuro recovery and treatment following stroke and brain injury; rehabilitation after elective total joint surgery or complex orthopedic surgery; reconditioning following severe illness; post-cardiac and medically complex care; and rehabilitation for general needs.

Scope of work
Under the direction of the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician and in collaboration with other members of the health care team, contributes to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Functions in accordance with Burrell Behavioral Health Operational Guidelines/ Standard Operating Procedures and within his/her professional code of ethics
Utilizes behavioral interventions to assist client in achieving treatment goals. Interventions include but are not limited to: motivational intervention, operant conditioning, interpersonal and group dynamics, cognitive processing, evidenced based interventions.

Job Summary
Coordinates, plans and delivers the best psychotherapeutic approach for each patient. Provides clinical (only) supervision for day-to-day implementation of therapeutic strategies or milieu programming that carries out the treatment plan for each patient by a variety of staff including psychiatric technicians, LPNs, RNs, mental health counselors and discharge planners across the Center's continuum of care. Services are provided with the recognized standards of practice and the patient’s Plan of Care.
