• As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:
• Research and analysis on industry benchmarks to identify market leaders, best practises and identify how this could be applied to improve Teleport’s Business lines;
• Research and analysis on macro and microeconomics factors that is impacting the industry and understanding how this can significantly impact Teleport’s goals and objectives;
• Having a deep understanding of the key levers of the business lines and applying market and industry factors that will “move the needle” and impact Teleports objectives and financials;
• Work closely with business and enabler leaders, to understand how operations impacts the business and ensure business and operations team are aligned with our long term goal and objective;
• Collaborating with cross-functional departments independently (all departments including operations) to identify gaps in the business and providing solutions “looking at the bigger picture” (taking into consideration long-term goals and objectives);
• Monitoring profitability of all entities under Teleport Group to ensure revenue and profits are maximised with cost contained;
• Making key decisions around how capital or working capital (internally generated through EBITDA or external funding) are redeployed into the business. Balancing between growth, scale and profitability;
• Building, monitoring and constantly reviewing financial models for Teleport Group;
• Building dashboards for FP&A reportings - single source of truth;
• Preparation of monthly reports - key messaging, financial and operational performances (not financial consolidation reports/reporting packages) for external (bankers, investors, etc) and internal stakeholders (Management, Shareholders, Capital A, Airlines);
• Preparation and review of forecasts and budgets
• Manage and align objectives and work closely along the other 2 team members (finance business partners)
• Implement and coordinate ad-hoc finance business initiatives

Pay Range:

$73,920-$110,880/year

 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. GENERAL FUNCTION:

The starting base pay is $77,700.00 to $104,500.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, Company finances, and other operational considerations.

• At least Bachelor’s Degree from top local or overseas universities with preferred GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale. Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business field is an advantage. MBA degree and product management, or consulting experience is a plus.

Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Designing, establishing, and maintaining an integrated financial management system, including budgeting, accounting, and managerial-financial reporting, which furnishes timely data that is used in the direction, evaluation, and control of operations at the various levels of management.
• The CFO's financial duties and responsibilities include analyze national level programs, exceptionally large and complex programs; develop. recommend, and implement budgetary and financial policies; interpret and assess the impact of new and revised Congressional legislation on the formulation and execution of budgets; project and analyze the potential effects on budgetary actions on program viability and attainment of program objectives; and develop and render authoritative interpretations of executive orders, OMB guidelines and directives, and policies and precedents.
• Develops proposals concerning alternative methods, sources, and timing of financing for substantive programs.
• Developing the strategy for presenting budget for important substantive programs; developing narrative and statistical justification for requesting funds; and briefing management officials on the nature of the testimony to be given to fund granting and approving officials.
• Financial oversight of a wide range of financial programs, appropriateness of expenditures, collections of funds and ensuring the fiscal integrity of all financial records at the medical center
• Develops local policies for use by operating officials in preparing budget estimates for their department and service lines
• Responsible for maintaining and validating the VA cost accounting data
• Responsible for the accuracy of various VA on-going budgetary reports

The Position:

The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will play a pivotal role in challenging and optimising our financial performance and operational efficiency across all business segments, including residential aged care, home care, and retirement living.

This role will provide critical financial insights, facilitate data-driven decision-making, and collaborate closely with senior leaders to drive financial performance and operational excellence.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive and continuously improve management reporting and dashboard insights.
• Conduct variance analysis against benchmarks and budgets.
• Ensure data accuracy and relevancy through triangulation.
• Develop innovative data presentation methods for easily digestible insights.
• Provide advice and reports on profit and loss performance improvements, income enhancement, and cost reduction.
• Advise and report on capital allocation, including projects, investments, and divestments.
• Analyze and advise on cash flow management.
• Conduct balance sheet optimization analysis.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and modeling to drive business performance.
• Develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Ensure end-of-month reporting is insightful, timely, relevant, and accurate.

Essential:

• Tertiary qualification in accounting.
• Professional accounting qualification or progress towards a CPA/CA qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior Financial Planning and Analysis role.
• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to collect, manipulate, analyze, and report on data.
• Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).

Desirable:

• Experience in the residential aged care industry.
