• Interface with the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) manager for all client-provided equipment
• Liaise with the mechanical, electrical, or plumbing engineering consultants, supervisory engineers, inspectors and relevant staff
• Produce weekly cloud-based QA/QC check for the mechanical scope of work
• Ensure that Mechanical Subcontractors adhere to relevant quality documentation/records
• Assist in the testing and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing equipment. (Dock Levelers, Lifts etc.)

Requirements:

• Must possess BCSS certificate
• Mechanical, electrical, or plumbing construction background. Precast construction is also a plus
• 5+ years of mechanical, electrical, or plumbing site supervisor
• Experience building data centers or other technically intensive facilities
• Mechanical, electrical, or plumbing and engineering working knowledge of plans, engineering drawings, specifications and schematics associated with the mechanical, electrical, or plumbing trades
• Computer literacy. Significant experience with Excel, Word, and other computer based tools
• Knowledge of Navisworks or any BIM software would be an added advantage
• Strong leadership and excellent communication and organizational skills
• Fluency in English

• Supervise and manage workers involved in trenching activities (Trial trench, pipe laying etc), ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to project specifications.

• Responsible for managing the maintenance activities by directing and supervising a team of personnel including contractors, supply of materials required to maintain machines and equipment in the prescribed condition.

• Coordinate and liaise with piping, lifting, scaffolding, insulation, painting, and refractory contractors in the supervision of piping, lifting, scaffolding, insulation, painting, and refractory work at the site.
• Perform with maintenance employees along with other technical personnel, and contractors to develop a proactive and effective team working together to attain set objectives.
• Provide job training and guidance to the workforce including MSRA as necessary.
• Arrange site checks, dimension measurements, etc. to assist the engineer with improvement, modification and investment plan works including estimating manpower, tools and equipment.
• Assist manpower to storekeeper on preservation of stock items and inventory check as necessary.
• Conduct routine 5S at maintenance workshop, store and work area at site.
• Other duties as assigned.

About you:

• A diploma in Mechanical or equivalent is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of Maintenance Supervisory experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
• Experience in using Auto Cad and CMMS (Computerize Maintenance Management System) is an advantage.
• Experience in refractory repair work is an advantage.
• Ability to work weekends, and holidays and respond to callouts on a non-routine basis.

As an Equipment Engineer Supervisor supporting the Engineering Team, you will be trusted to work at the Batam Plant. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Responsible for providing technical support and continuous improvement in the Equipment Engineering/maintenance and ensuring the successful operation of manufacturing, safety, productivity, validation, and team goals/targets are met while in compliance to company implemented policy (internal/global Alcon quality procedure, HSE, DI, GDP, SOP, and 5S)

• Responsible for all machine PM execution and machine performance. Equipment Engineering, to coordinate with related departments to ensure all of PM can be executed as per the schedule plan with very minimum impact on productivity. Review all of PM procedures and effectiveness and efficiency

• Administer Equipment Engineering

  • Ensure proper on-site installations

  • Take charge of routine servicing teams and repair Teams

  • Assist in planning and tracking all maintenance works

  • Investigate root causes of equipment failures

• Manage Equipment Capabilities

  • Manage equipment monitoring relates to DT trending and performance
