To address these demands, the Chief Field Officer for the Asia Pacific Field Division has established a core team to focus on three areas – design, strategy, and development – in support of the APFD’s strategic outcomes for the next five years:

1. Accountability: Increased accountability through measurable and repeatable programs/projects and systems
2. Funding: Programs are driven by strategic priorities and impact (not by donors)
3. Teams: Teams have capabilities and expertise to learn, adapt, and deliver impact

Team responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the development of a regional strategy; the design of a framework for developing country level strategies that can also be adapted for specific program and/or project development; the design of a regional monitoring, evaluation, and adaptive learning (MEAL) approach; a regional development and fundraising strategy; and other priorities as identified by the Chief Field Officer. To deliver on the above, this team will work closely with each APFD country program and with CI global program teams as needed.

At this time, the team is comprised of the following four roles, with additional roles/staff added if/as needed.

1. Senior Manager, Executive Assistant, Chief Field Officer Team, APFD
2. Senior Director, Design, APFD
3. Director, Development, APFD
4. Senior Manager, Strategy, APD

The Senior Director, Design will lead design for APFD regional initiatives and provide direct design and development support to each APFD program. They will also provide project management and/or technical assistance for priority/high-profile programs and/or projects as identified by the Chief Field Officer. He/she will also work closely with the Senior Manager, Strategy on the development and implementation of regional and country strategies as well as with the Director, Development on the design of a fundraising and partnership engagement strategy. This position reports to the Chief Field Officer, APFD.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Chief Field Office Team

• Lead strategic design for APFD programs utilizing different design thinking and systems change approaches to focus on the development of comprehensive programs and/or projects that aim to deliver quality and measurable impact.
• Provide direct support to programs and teams by guiding project and/or program design for specific opportunities and/or interventions. Utilize learnings from across the region to promote adaptive design, management, and delivery to ensure effective and efficient success and impact.
• Work closely with the Senior Manager, Strategy on the design and development of regional and country level strategies as well as programmatic strategy development to ensure alignment across the regional as well as CI’s institutional mission and Southern Cross.
• Work closely with the Director, Development on the design and development of a fundraising and partnership engagement strategy at a regional level. Specifically providing support to this individual, and country programs as needed, on Private Sector engagement and management.
• Ensure the integration of priorities and alignment across the Chief Field Office team.
• Aim to ensure the work of the Chief Field Office helps improve capacity within APFD programs and effectively strengthens teams capabilities and delivery.
• 2. Conservation Program Directors Group (CPDG)
• Lead a small regional team to support the integration and alignment of programs across APFD as well as to drive more efficient progress towards delivery and achieving impact.
• Lead team coordination and delivery in relation to a primary focus of this group – the review and feedback process to regional leadership on applications submitted to internal funding programs (the Natural Climate Solutions Technical Assistance Facility, the Blue Economy Accelerator, etc.).

3. Program/Project Management and Implementation

• Provide direct project management for priority/high-profile projects – including the development and implementation of workplans, budgets, staffing plans, M&E systems, etc.
• Participate in project implementation support work including planning workshops, kick-off events, quarterly/annual partner meetings, and spot checks to identify potential risks and opportunities for support to field teams.
• Provide leadership or guidance on the development and management of strategies and workstreams related to sustainable agriculture, commodities, and livelihoods within projects, programs, and/or country strategies.
• Provide strategic intervention and support to field teams on adaptive management and learning throughout project lifecycle as needed.
• Provide programmatic backstopping for field programs to advance important relationships and opportunities.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assumes responsibility for ad-hoc topics as assigned by Chief Field Officer, APFD from time to time.

PEOPLE AND RESOURCE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position can represent CI externally, lead projects, and manage partnerships with leading stakeholders; convene and lead meetings with partner organizations, CI staff from other divisions, and to engage directly with CI field programs; and to manage and commit budget resources as well as supervise employees and/or interns if required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education and Experience

• Postgraduate degree (Masters and/or PhD) in a field related to conservation and international development required.
• 10+ years of working experience within environmental conservation sector and/or international development sector is required. Additional experience with private sector as related to sustainability, finance, or other conservation-related aspects (social/human rights, etc.) is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects or initiatives that involve multiple internal and external stakeholders across private and public sectors and civil society organizations.
• Proven ability to work effectively across cultures and regions.
• Proven ability in establishing and managing successful collaborations.
• Proven ability to develop proposals, budgets and workplans.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Position requires travel to field locations, CI offices (country offices and HQ), partner facilities, and partner workshops and/or conferences.

7. Manage the website and online presence of the e-magazine, utilizing experience in web design, SEO, and content management systems.

2. With at least three years of publishing experience in the science fiction and fantasy fields.

We are offering a unique opportunity for a highly motivated and proactive Senior Associate / Associate Director to join our studio based in Singapore. If you have architectural and project management experience, and are passionate about working on exciting international projects in a dynamic design led environment we would love to hear from you.

Ideal candidates must have:

• Minimum 10 years relevant postgraduate working experience, preferably with SEA project experience;
• Degree in Architecture from an internationally recognised university;
• Experience in managing the production and coordination of information for each of the work stages through to project competition;
• Experience in contract administration for large scale projects and front-end client / consultant interaction;
• Technical planning experience is highly beneficial;
• Strong desire to deliver excellent architectural design;
• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft letters, reports, presentations and proposals;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Job Description

Art Director, Global Corporate Brand - Temporary cover position for 16 weeks / 4 months

ROLE OF ART DIRECTOR (DIGITAL/PRINT/MOTION)

The Art Director plays a primarily execution-based role, delivering designs and creative project work that serves as an example to their peer designers. They may begin to take on more creative management responsibilities that are generally limited to leadership within the internal team, but they may also begin building stronger relationships with external partners. The Art Director role can expand beyond individual contributions by assisting in laying pathways for creative projects as well as helping schedule and review work of other designers while collaborating with the Creative Director and Project Managers. They take approved objectives and build creative workplans, enforcing policies and recommending changes. They may manage photoshoots, liaise with clients in day-to-day communications, and in some cases, this person may manage creative direction for designers or freelancers.

DAY-TO-DAY RESONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to align creative strategies with overall brand vision and business goals.

• Design print, promotion, and marketing deliverables from concept to completion, and manage quality that meets the standards of creative excellence for A+E Networks global corporate/sales branding and marketing on assets including:

• Global Content Sales Tools: Catalogue, digital marketing sales tools and business presentations

• Trade Events: Interiors, theming, graphics, emails, invites, signage, and premiums at industry events such as MIPCOM, the A+E Showcases, and screenings

• Trade Advertising Campaigns: prints ads, billboards, digital banners, and gifts for priority marketing partners

• Key art/program title logos for global program initiatives

• Program pitch decks for A+E Studios and A+E Factual Studios

• Corporate newsletters

• Motion graphics for sizzles and development pitch tapes

• Execute creative concepts in marketing campaigns through print, digital, motion graphics, and experiential activations.

• Provide strategic art direction and take work from concept to final execution within deadlines, and in some cases oversee designers/freelancers work from concept to final execution.

• Ensure consistency of brand guidelines across all collateral.

• Present design concepts and rationale to internal stakeholders.

• Multitask, handle multiple projects at once and pivot effectively while being receptive to all feedback.

• Collaborate with creative directors, designers, and copywriters.

• Occasionally collaborate with external partners like Global Content Sales and Ad Sales

• Stay on top of trends, be proactive about problem-solving and maintaining best practices.

• Foster a creative and collaborative work environment, inspiring and mentoring junior designers and other team members.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud software and industry standard programs

• Highly proficient in color theory, typography, textures, and spatial relationships

• Highly proficient in industry standard file formats and deliverables for both Print/Online

• Proficient knowledge in motion graphic design and toolkit development

• Proficient knowledge in pre-press, 4 color process

• Foundational knowledge in front end design / UI and UX (E.G. Figma)

• Foundational knowledge in programming languages (E.G. CSS and HTML)

• Foundational knowledge in content management systems (E.G. WordPress)

Compensation

Contract Hourly Pay Rate: $46.50

Your main duties and responsibilities include but not limited to perform the followings:-

1. Oversee the full company’s operation

2. Responsible for liaising with existing clients and managing the on-going projects to meet the time, cost the quality objectives and monitor of overall site construction.

3. Responsible for leading sales team and achieve monthly sales target which requires you to have well established business networks with clients and suppliers.

4. You must assist in the design development process by communicating with both clients and interior designers so that client’s needs will be met and must understand the cost of projects and provide clients with suitable quotation.

5. Ensure all projects will be completed within our budgets.

6. Negotiate terms and conditions of contract and monitor the preparation of contract documentation.

7. Monitor and streamlining post contract administration and procedures. You must monitor all the necessary repair manuals, guarantees by our company to clients.

8. Assist to client to collect payment from clients.

9. Hit sales target

10. Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines and allocating resources

11. Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them

12. Identifying and managing potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects
