When you join Design Group as a Project Coordinator, you are joining a team that will challenge you and position you for growth. In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.

What You’ll Do

You'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.

• Manage the cost tracking process to ensure accurate and consistent data is shared between Design Group and client project managers
• Update the SAP spreadsheet with invoice reports including highlighting all changes and reviewing with the project manager before sending to the client
• Schedule and coordinate monthly forecasts with project managers
• Verify that documentation is up to date and accurate and includes all invoices and purchase orders
• Compile and present monthly updates on project fund costs to project managers
• Conduct training on the cost tracking spreadsheet
• Maintain an active log of client capital projects

• Enter purchase requisitions into the myBuy ERP system
• Maintain Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) inbox and review incoming invoices
• Support directors, project managers and engineers in project-related activities
• Generate proposals, PO requisitions, and presentations
• Maintain client standard document templates including financial tools, proposal templates, and an archive of key presentations
• Set up project folders and standard documents
• Organize Microsoft Teams folders

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum of one year of relevant experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management, clients, and vendors
• Experience in accounting-related work (preferred)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience reviewing purchase orders, reconciling invoices, and reviewing project finances

Job Responsibilities

• Managers typically have day-to-day responsibility for delivering engagements or major modules of large projects.
• This includes leading the approach, liaising with clients and other parties and directing the thinking of individuals within the team.
• An important part of the role will include involvement in business development and marketing activities to initiate and maintain contact with target companies.
• A Manager frequently manages two or more consultants or senior consultants.

If you are someone with:

• MBA degree from a top-tier academic institution with 8-10 years of relevant business experience with consulting firms/leading Financial Services Firms
• Experience, managing large and complex engagements with team of consultants from wide-ranging disciplines, managing project financials, and working with client’s senior executives to ensure successful project delivery;
• Contributing member in projects or engagements on topics in digital, ecosystem partnerships and business model transformation will be an added advantage
• Background or experience (through coursework or employment) in business management, quantitative analysis and financial analysis;
• An in-depth knowledge of at least three of the following: business strategy, marketing, finance, operations, and data analysis techniques;
• Excellent academic credentials for both undergraduate and graduate coursework;
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;
• Leadership qualities, project management skills, and the ability to mentor;

Positions may be based in Singapore but project locations could be anywhere in the Asia-Pacific Region.
