Position Summary:

Ensure, manage and maintain a high security standard on the overall safety and security of the premises as well as the car parking system and account for the car park revenue. Provides investigation lead into losses, theft and other criminal activities. Advises on crisis, risk & safety management.

Primary Responsibilities:

Job Summary

The Regional Manager, Legal and Compliance APAC, will provide legal support for the APAC business, including to support the Regional Directors, Legal, based in Sydney and Singapore who together support the business in Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea and Vietnam/Export Markets.

This position will include drafting and negotiating various business agreements, contracts between Zimmer Biomet and healthcare partners or other third parties, reviewing promotional and educational materials, and supporting Company Secretariat activities for the companies in the APAC group. This individual will provide legal advice on a broad range of issues to support the business units to achieve their goals and mitigate risk to the company. Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the Regional Directors, Legal, Asia Pacific (based in Singapore and Sydney) as requested, in performing general legal services to support the business and development activities of Zimmer Biomet in Asia Pacific. Support regional and global legal initiatives and projects as required.
• Provide contract support to the business including drafting, reviewing, negotiating and settling legal contracts and transactional agreements.
• Review of marketing collaterals and policy documents as required.

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
• At least 5 years of IT related working experience with at least 3 years in IT/Cyber Security Domain practices
• CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) certification is an advantage
• Relevant security assessment certifications such as OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), Crest CRT (CREST Registered Penetration Tester) will be beneficial
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Understanding and working experience in Cyber Security management and ability to work with cross-functional teams to enforce security policies and standards.
• Experience in implementing security controls, and mitigating measures on enterprise security solutions

Job Objectives:

Tasked with aiding the Security Manager in safeguarding properties and ensuring the well-being of guests, employees, and the hotel. Supervise all activities of security staff to ensure compliance and proper application of department regulations and hotel policies. Documents all action in the department, including: emergencies, loss, theft, or accident.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manages the Security Department, alongside with Security Manager.
• Oversees the security department and their day to day operations.
• Trains all security personnel in their areas of responsibilities.
• Reviews policies, procedures, and instructions on a regular basis.
• Evaluates possible hazards or threats to security.
• Promotes a safety attitude amongst all employees.
• Ensures safety of persons in the hotel and property assets.
• Reports irregularity in employee or guest behavior.
• Handles loss, damage and accidents.
• Handles, documents, and follows up with necessary persons any accidents occurring in the hotel premises.
• Investigates theft as reported by guest or employee.
• Documents all action in the department, including: emergencies, loss, theft, or accident.
• Participates in weekly department heads meeting in absence of Security Manager - Rooms Division Meeting and any others if requested.
• Secondary liaison for interacting with government officials, ministries, and law enforcement agencies.
• Reviews emergency procedures regularly.
• Delivers security training and promotes awareness within the hotel.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Security Manager.

Job Requirements

• Minimum education of High Vocational diploma in any discipline. Bachelor degree holder have an advantage.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position in security & safety operations.
• Basic knowledge of local laws, investigative methods and fire safety.

Specific Responsibilities:

• draft, review and revise various types of agreements, such as non-disclosure agreements, service agreements, consultancy agreements and outsourcing agreements;
• respond to inquiries from the Company’s business divisions in relation to the various legal matters, such as interpretation of existing agreements, legality of new business opportunities or changes in laws and regulations that may affect business;
• draft, review and maintain compliance related documents, such as company regulations and policies;
• advise on and assist in handling claims from or disputes with customers, service providers, and/or suppliers;
• organize and conduct in-house training for the Company;
• liaise with Japan HQ’s legal department and business departments for global transactions and advise on legal risks and issues;
• prepare responses to various surveys initiated by Japan HQ; and assist other divisions in the company in any way required.

Specific Responsibilities:

• License to practice law or a law degree
• Ability to review and draft English agreements without any supervision
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a corporate/commercial department in a law firm in Singapore or a Singapore company
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Native level English skills
• Independent and pro-active
• Willing to handle clerical work
