The post holder will be able to work autonomously and be able to provide a high level of expert clinical management and care to patients within the speciality. They will act as a highly specialised role model for advanced practice, working closely with the multidisciplinary team and other key stakeholders. Undertake advanced clinical assessment and examination, including but not limited to: Clinical data interpretation, investigation and treatment. Resuscitation and first stage management. Diagnosis and disease management. Delivery of expert clinical interventions and treatments. Non-medical prescribing. The post holder will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team. They will be expected to sit on the junior tier medical rota and work together with the medical and nursing teams to deliver a high quality service. The post holder will be expected to cover days, nights and some weekend shifts in their job plan. There will also be dedicated allocated time for management and continuous professional development. Work under supervision to learn to provide autonomous expert clinical practice in clinical clerking of the patient on arrival to the unit including assessment, diagnosis and development of medical treatment plans, for a range of patients with acute, non-acute, and chronic medical conditions. This will include analysis of symptoms, initiation of interventions i.e. IV cannulation and ordering of diagnostic tests and x-rays as required, then interpret and adjust treatment regimens as appropriate. Work under supervision to learn to recognise the rapidly deteriorating patient and provide clinical interventions and prescribe the medical management plan according to clinical needs. Makes clinical decisions on transfer of acutely unwell patients, and liaises with receiving medical team. Collaborate with Doctors/Consultant and work under supervision to learn to plan and implement treatment for complex and multi-pathology illnesses, including managing a community inpatient caseload on a daily basis, undertaking independent ward rounds adjusting care as required. The post holder will become a specialist in this area of care, with knowledge of minor skin surgical procedures, skin cancer conditions, treatments, and further developments. They will work in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team to further develop and maintain the delivery of best practice in the care and management of skin cancer patients from referral or diagnosis onwards and throughout their care pathway.

Job Description

• To perform data entry, entering client accounts, patient demographic information & order laboratory tests completely and accurately into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).

• Recognize and correct inaccurate or missing information on the laboratory requisitions

• Filling and archiving of documents.

• Assist in printing department, sorting and distributing laboratory reports on an ad-hoc basis.

• Any other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned.

• Ensuring smooth daily operation.

Job Requirements

• Willing to work 5.5 days (Mon-Sat) work week, overtime and rotating shift schedule

• Minimum GCE N & O-Level with at least 1 year of relevant call centre work experience, preferably in healthcare industry.

• Good typing skills and accuracy.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent phone etiquette and positive learning and working attitude

• Fluent in written & spoken English is a must

• Computer literate, Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel

• Hardworking, responsible, multitask and meticulous attention to detail

• Cooperative, able to work well with colleagues and superiors.

• Team player & supportive of the operational needs

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 10.15 am to 6.45 pm

Saturday: 11.00 am to 3.30 pm
