Clinical To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own work, including the management of patients in your care. The post holder will provide assistance to the Care at Home Officer to support and supervise a team of Senior Health & Social Care Support Workers within the community to deliver a high standard of holistic care to individuals and their families/carers.

The post holder will provide day to day professional support to the Senior Health & Social Care Support Workers, carry out practice observations, 1-2-1 supervision and assist staff in ensuring compliance with mandatory training and professional registration.

The post holder will undertake regular service user reviews for the in-house Care at Home Service, independent sector providers and the wider integrated team and assist in the delivery of a person-centred Care at Home service to meet the assessed need and personal outcomes of those referred to the service in line with the Health and Social Care Standards and Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) codes. This is an exciting and varied role, which includes the following duties:
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES- indicates only the main duties and responsibilities of the post. It is not intended as an exhaustive list.
Assisting residents with all personal care
Medication rounds
Writing up the daily notes at the end of the shift
Ensuring that all changes have been noted and where required communicated to the appropriate person by either writing in the unit or the managers communication book
Helping with admissions as requested by the Unit Manager
Checking in of new medication
Assisting the Unit Manager in inducting new care staff
Assisting the Unit Manager in reviewing Care plans if requested
Ensure that you and others follow the key worker procedure
Checking of any wounds or injuries and completing the daily body map forms.
Updating and communicating with families.
Communication with other health professionals.
Attending Monthly Senior staff meetings led by the Care Home Manager.
Attending any emergency bell situations where you will assess and treat the resident accordingly. This includes falls, skin wounds and dressing changes.
Administering Insulin to residents that require it.
Reviewing of resident’s plan of care file on a monthly basis.
Check and monitor poorly or high risk residents closely throughout your shift.

When on shift you are part of the team complement and as such are required to help and assist with all aspects of residents care

The care home offers up to 70 people a home from home. Staff work in partnership with healthcare services to ensure people receive timely support to maintain and improve their health. Staff support people to develop and maintain relationships to avoid social isolation and encourage residents to take part in activities that are socially and culturally relevant to their individual interests.

• Plan, supervise and implement the programme for the class in accordance with Centre’s policies and framework.
• Prepare the lesson plans, Conduct evaluation of lessons and Submit periodic reports.
• Classroom management.
• Ensure safety and hygiene of the children.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Maintain good communication with the parents and Participate in parents’ discussion groups.

· Job Requirements:

• Minimum with a Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education - Teaching (DECCE-T or CECCCE), Diploma in Child Psychology & Early Education
• GCE 'O' Level credit in English with a minimum of C6 grading
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a passion in teaching young children.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skill.

The Opportunity

Our next Senior Residential Care Worker will be someone who has:

Mandatory: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification)
A big heart and passion to make a difference to the occupants’ lives.
Patience, resilience, and calmness.
Some of your duties will include:

Chaperoning occupants to appointments and activities
Completing relevant paperwork
Household tasks
Administering medication
Lead, train and develop new and existing support workers within your team
Helping the deputy manager to maintain a skilled and knowledgeable team

The Orchards is 5-bed residential home committed to providing care to children/young people on a long/medium/short-term basis depending on the needs of the young person. The Orchards provides a holistic, safe, stimulating and supporting family environment where children/young people cared for can live, learn and develop.

This home is based in Nottingham and is within commuting distance from Derby, Mansfield, Ilkeston and surrounds.
