Pay: £12 per hour + great benefits
Contract: 39 hours per week + regular overtime, 6 month seasonal temporary contract, full time
Working pattern: 5 days out of 7 including early mornings from 6am (store opening), afternoons, late evenings to 10pm (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview

You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team member at Co-op, as it requires working before 6am or after 10pm, or involves working in one of our petrol forecourts.
As a customer team member at Co-op, you'll provide friendly, thoughtful service, and be on hand to support customers whenever they need your help. You'll also make sure your store is in great shape - working as part of a team to replenish products and support deliveries.

What you'll do

Inbound management

The Moors Care Centre is a care home in Ripon giving residents a safe and secure caring place to live. Kents Hill is an established purpose-built care home offering elderly residential, nursing and dementia care. A professional team has furnished the Home to an exceptionally high standard, providing elegance and comfort. There are no fixed visiting hours so friends and family can come and see residents at any time. Activities and day trips are an integral part of the resident’s well being. The activities coordinators encourage and help residents continue with existing interests and also introduce new hobbies. The minibus is used frequently to take residents on day trips near and a little further from the Home. The trips are very popular and recently, days out to Woburn Safari Park, Middleton Hall, Frosts Garden Centre, Stoke Goldington Small Gauge Railway and Linslade Canal have been greatly enjoyed. The dining experience at Kents Hill boasts fine home cooking by a professional Chef who has created a menu alongside the residents to reflect the interests and tastes of all. Respite care at Kents Hill is very popular and enables those wishing to experience what the Home has to offer before making a full commitment. n October 2015, 15 brand new luxury suites opened along with a new lounge, library, salon and bistro all adding to the style and comfort the home offers and in 2018 a refurbishment of the communal areas and one side of the nursing suite took place.

Buckingham House is a purpose-built Care Home providing caregiving for nursing, residential and dementia residents by well-trained and well-led carers and nurses. The home facilitates 24-hour personalised care whilst supporting people to have their independence and dignity. The home boasts a number of lounges, two dining area, two cafes, a library and hair dressing salon, as well as beautifully landscaped gardens and patio areas. Each room is en-suite and decorated to a hotel standard, whilst each floor has a modern equipped bathroom facility. The head chef who won MMCG Masterchef of the year, has developed a seasonal menu to suit all palettes, and promote choice. She meets with the people living at the home to hear their requirements and this is reflected in her menu. Looking at ways to engage with the people that live at the home in a meaningful way is important to the activities coordinator. The people living at the home are invited to participate in clubs such as gardening, baking, maintenance facilitated by the staff of the home. She also has engaged with the community having local Zumba, Tai Chi, Music for therapy companies attend the home. Once your loved one is at the home we operate a “home from home†feel allowing you to visit the home at any time and offer the opportunities for you to join in any events or meals. Our care plans are also structured and reviewed regularly using information provided by family, friends and medical professionals to ensure a meaning quality of life.

Yohden Hall Care Complex is a versatile care facility divided into three units offering specialist care. Nursing care is offered at Yohden Hall; Yohden Lodge provides dementia nursing care; and a residential unit, Yohden Court, is available for service users with learning difficulties. Respite stays and day care are also available. En-suite bedrooms are available and a modern lounge and dining rooms are provided on each unit. The care complex boasts a variety of features and facilities, including a hairdressing salon and an on-site bar. Residents can take advantage of extensive outdoor areas including secure gardens, a vegetable patch, and a large conservatory and patio area. Individuals are treated with respect and dignity by the care team at Yohden. Team members work hard to provide a person-centred programme of care, creating a warm and friendly environment. Residents are provided with a full programme of creative and fun activities, entertainment and events to choose from, organised by the home's activities coordinators and with access to its own minibus, residents are able to enjoy day trips outs.
