Scope of Position

Manages distribution product for the branch. The distribution manager seeks new distribution services opportunities and cooperates with sales to turn new opportunities into profitable business.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Review and support with day-to-day quotations

Retail Minibus Driver (Minibus Provided)

Salary: £12.94 per hour inclusive of holiday pay (£11.55 per hour + £1.39 holiday pay)

Location: Colchester

(8-10hour stock count shifts + your driving time paid + bonus)

The Role

• We are looking for Retail Team Driver to add to our already successful team.
• This role will require you to oversee the transportation of a small team of stock counters to and from each shift within your region
• Work will be carried out on different Retail customer sites / stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis.
• You must follow the correct processes when notifying your count team of the pick-up points and timings for each shift
• Escalating any issues with the vehicle in a timely and efficient manner
• Completing a team attendance sheet, detailing the stock counters expected on the bus, who attended and the arrival time of the bus on site.
• Whilst on site you will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock

Key Skills/ Experience Required

• This role will involve working unsociable hours, working early mornings or night shifts, this therefore means we are unable to hire anyone under the age of 21 years.
• This role requires you to have a Full Driving License.
• You must have a 'can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts where required on large counts.
• With our innovative business, the technology changes and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required.
• Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity.

Key Accountabilities

1. Co-ordinate and schedule pick-up with freight forwarders and 3rd party service providers for dispatch of shipments and update Customer Service department with delivery details and documentation
2. To perform good receiving, put-away, cycle-count and stock surveillance.
3. Assist in handling of Dangerous Goods (DG) management.
4. Pick, and label materials and spares for Operations and customers ‘orders. For outbound shipments or dispatch, to ensure proper and adequate preparation and packaging are performed.
5. Ensure all shipment documentation are prepared correctly and filed in accordance to the requirements of Singapore Customs and IRAS.
6. Assist in department administrative work such as documents verification and filing/archiving.
7. Performing Trade Compliance activities
8. Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Company.

Pre-requisites

• GCE ‘N’/ ‘O’ Level with at least 1-year relevant experience or Higher Nitec in Logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Meticulous with good organizational and administrative skills
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods handling and management is preferred.
• IT savvy
• Good team player, willing to learn and self-motivated.
