RESPONSIBILITIES

This role reports to the CEO and will be a member of the MINDS Management team, sharing collective responsibility specifically in the area of fundraising and donation to deliver the organization's strategies and Mission to realise its espoused Vision.

This role assists CEO in providing oversight, strategise and directs the development and implementation of fundraising and donation strategies to ensure MINDS financial sustainability in the face of growth, , raise funds for sustenance of MINDS services in a sustained manner, grow public mindshare of MINDS' value to Singapore, raise the profile of MINDS to gain more partners and seed collaboration with more stakeholder groups to provide greater support for Persons with Intellectual Disability (PWIDS) and their families, so as to facilitate their integration into society.

Job Responsibilities

• Strategise, lead, build pipelines and drive engagements with donor stakeholders across the following key segments; corporates, funding agencies, Foundations and high net-worth individuals.
• Develop, implement, and review Donation framework and policies for whole of MINDS.
• Strategise, lead and drive philanthropic giving efforts to MINDS.
• Innovate and explore new ways and platforms/channels of reaching out to prospective donors to grow and sustain philanthropic giving for MINDS. Ensure good governance on donation administration process and maintenance of donor database.
• Propose yearly donation targets for Senior Management approvement
• Develop, implement, and review fundraising framework and policies for whole of MINDS.
• Strategise, lead and drive fundraising efforts (1 large scale (200k) and 1 smaller scale (80k) for MINDS to establish a sustainable income source for MINDS.
• Lead and drive all fundraising efforts by third parties for MINDS.
• Ensure good governance for all fundraising efforts and build fundraising profile and database, to support future fundraising initiatives, in compliance with relevant government legislations such as and not limited to: Charities Act, Charity Commission Guidelines, House to House and Street Collection Act, etc.
• Work with Finance to assess the financial health and growth of MINDS from the perspective of financial sustainability.
• Work with Finance to determine areas that MINDS could develop on to ensure greater financial sustainability.
• Work with finance to develop strategies that will be coherent with the overall funding strategies for MINDS.
• Co-Lead and drive discussion on financial sustainability for MINDS with Finance.
• Assist to strategise, craft and coordinate details required for grant submissions so as to ensure its approval from funding bodies, together with Plans.
• Seek out possible grants for MINDS to apply for.
• To be conversant with all Grant terms and conditions, so as to advise, propose and recommend the appropriate Grants that the various projects could apply for.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Manager / Senior Manager, Plans & HR Transformation drives MINDS' HR transformation and develops strategies for MINDS' Employer of Choice initiatives. The Manager / Senior Manager shall review salary structure, career schemes and benefits and performance management to build an agile and resilient workforce. The Manager / Senior Manager shall also review HR policies and processes to support development and growth of MINDS's workforce. RESPONSIBILITIES

The Social Worker works in the field of Social Work. He/She is qualified and trained to provide interventions and programs, perform community development work and uplift the professional practice in Social Work. He/She conducts casework and group work as well as implements and evaluates community development activities and programs to address service gaps in the community. He/She provides supervision to his subordinates.

A team player who is committed and service-oriented, the Social Worker works in institutional settings, communities, social service agencies, and hospitals. He also works in collaboration with other agencies and ministries in the course of his work.

• Perform stakeholder engagement and partnerships
• Conduct needs and intake assessments
• Perform case and care planning and goal setting
• Implement case and care plans and interventions
• Review casework interventions for improvements
• Conduct closure of cases upon achieving sustainable service outcomes for clients, families and communities
• Maintain case notes and documents and prepare social reports
• Plan, facilitate and evaluate group work interventions
• Conduct environmental scans and community need assessments
• Collaborate with other agencies to pool community resources
• Support, implement and evaluate community development initiatives
• Plan, implement and evaluate programmes to address service gaps
• Guide volunteers and placement students in their work
• Support professional development of staff within the organisation
• Participate in research to uplift the professional practice in social work
• Support the implementation of standards of care, organisational health policies, procedures and programmes
• Identify areas of improvement in models of care and service delivery based on evidence-based practices
• Respond to crisis situations based on organisational standard operating procedures
• Provide clinical supervision to staff and interns (for Senior Social Worker)

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Social Work or Graduate Diploma in Social Work recognised by the Social Work Accreditation and Advisory Board (SWAAB)

OTHER INFORMATION

• Qualify to be accredited as Registered Social Worker (RSW) or Registered Social Worker-Provisional (RSW-P) with SWAAB

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Psychologist provides psychological services within multi-disciplinary settings, applying a wide array of psychometric assessments and treatments for clients with routine psychological conditions. S/He conducts and writes reports for Mental Capacity Assessment for deputyship. S/He conducts psychoeducational programmes and training for other professionals. S/He works under supervision and in collaboration with other professionals in the course of his work.

• Conduct psychological assessments and assessment interviews to assess client's mental capacity under supervision
• Manage psychological cases
• Prepare assessment reports for routine cases and deputyship applications.
• Identify gaps in assessment tools in relation to application in local contexts and propose possible contextualisation to supervisors
• Deliver case presentations within psychological services
• Formulate evidence-based and data-driven intervention plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams for routine cases
• Deliver interventions for cases including medico-legal and forensic cases under supervision
• Identify areas of improvements to existing interventions based on research and sector trends
• Deliver psychological programmes and services
• Provide psychological inputs to other specialised departments and relevant professionals
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver and improve client care and services
• Adhere to professional standards in clinical and legal and ethical practices
• Adhere to policies and procedures for professional practice
• Identify areas of improvement in client care and services for quality improvement projects
• Assist in the delivery of training programmes as part of continuing professional development
• Deliver psychoeducation programmes for clients and other organisations
• Identify areas of improvement in models of client care and services based on evidence-based practices
• Perform data collection and analysis to support research
• Provides peer support

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree with Honours in Psychology or Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology or Clinical Psychology or Educational Psychology or Applied Psychology (preferred)
• Certification in conducting of mental capacity assessments (preferred)
• Knowledge or expertise in disability or related fields
