Are you interested in an Intern opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree to participate in a 12 week paid intern opportunity at our site in Nashville, TN. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience in a HealthTech company.
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Play a key role in a sales environment where you will grow sales through creating and maintaining long-term customer satisfaction. This role will have a direct impact on our success by qualifying leads, uncovering opportunities, and adding to the sales pipeline. You will help grow sales through creating and maintaining long-term customer satisfaction.
You are responsible for
- Supporting the achievement of daily, monthly and quarterly KPI metrics for the team
- Collaborate on projects that drive productivity efforts to customers
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) applications to document outreach efforts, account management plans, next steps/actions, & lead and opportunity notes.
- Working with Salesforce and other internal CRMs and databases for data clean-up
- Entering tasks, leads, and opportunities in Salesforce
- Update data and collateral in our content database
- Utilize excel, PPT, or word in daily tasks
- Assist with function or team level initiatives
- Enter and review sales orders for accuracy in the order management tool.
- Ability to maintain thorough current and competitive product knowledge and clear understanding of market dynamics in order to offer creative solutions to customers and territory and prepare/execute territory strategies and action plans.
- Responsible for collaborating with aligned sales representatives to create, develop, and execute sales strategies.
- Seek ways to broaden and expand the Philips product offerings to new customers while also raising the awareness and interest for Philips product portfolio and communicate trends to the Sales and Business groups.
- Work with cross-functional team members to resolve customer issues and improve efficiency.
You are a part of
The Market to Order Team, you will report directly to an Inside Sales Manager Philips Health Systems, North America.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Enrolled in an accredited university pursing a bachelor's degree in a related field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Possess a very strong phone presence for taking inbound calls and making outbound cold calls as well as collaborating with internal stakeholders
- Ability to apply persuasive selling skills via telephone to address customer needs
- Ability to build relationships with key decision makers.
- Determine customer’s requirements and recommend Philips solutions & services.
- Presentation, Planning, and Organizational skills.
- Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or equivalent helpful but not necessary
- Skills with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
Philips Transparency Details
The hourly pay range for this position is $20.00 to $23.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
