King Corporate Migration are searching for an experienced full time Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who can guide the financial systems and processes that empower our business and keep our finances positioned for continued success.
The CFO will have a day-to-day, ongoing impact on company operations, helping us to analyse, strategise, and grow our financial position. This seasoned strategist must understand current accounting practices and trends, but will also have experience in cash flow management, budgeting, cost-saving measures and adapting to change. As a member of senior management, the CFO will be comfortable in a leadership role that requires clear and effective communication skills.
Due to the highly regulated nature of the sector in which we operate and the complex structure of the entities and investments, a strong understanding of legal, financial and ethical best practice is essential.
Objectives of this role
• Take responsibility for cash management, cost minimisation, budgeting, financial reporting, tax compliance and investments.
• Help drive financial strategy and hiring needs.
• Coordinate development of annual budgets, variance analysis, reporting, forecasting and regular revisions of same, as required.
• Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations, oversee day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities.
• Develop and implement practices to a strong control environment.
• Comply with financial and taxation requirements. Study existing and new regulations, and taking appropriate action in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
• Work with the owners, directors and senior management to efficiently develop budget proposals and regular variance analysis
• Financial reporting.
• Research revenue opportunities and economic trends.
• Analyse internal operations, identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement.
• Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments.
• Evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives.
• Oversee HR operations.
• Regularly monitor business performance, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for management.
• Manage personnel and oversee financial IT systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
Required skills and qualifications
• Professional Accounting Qualification (Chartered or Certified Public Accountant).
• International finance experience.
• Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, as well as tax planning and compliance.
• Five or more years’ post qualification experience in Industry.
• Five or more years’ experience in people management.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
Salary
$90,000 - $120,000.
