About The Job

This post will provide support to the Postgraduate Research (PGR) Manager in the administration of research degree-related business, including tasks associated with PGR student records and examinations and helping to maintain and ensure the accuracy of the data held on research students on the student records system and other PGR and research systems and databases. The postholder will support the PGR Manager and work alongside two PGR Coordinators.

Key duties will include:

-Monitoring, organizing and answering emails sent to shared mailboxes.
-Supporting the administration of PGR examinations.
-Support the administration of research student expenses budgets and processing of expense claims and purchase requisitions.
-Administrative support for research degree-related committees.

The Graduate School is the University’s central hub for postgraduate research (PGR) degree administration, quality assurance and researcher development. The Graduate School’s administrative staff provide a university-wide administration for research degrees programmes from the point of initial enquiry to enrolment of students, progression, annual review and examination. Resource, track and monitor the registration, approval, and status of research projects. Undertake administrative tasks in relation to the registration, review and approval of research projects. The Senior Research Administrator will provide high level specialist administrative support for the research environment of the department. The post holder will also be responsible for gathering research management information, and preparing for the research Excellence Framework Exercise (REF). About the Role:

This role is responsible for directing and developing manufacturing policies and processes.
