Key Role:

Work with Booz Allen colleagues and government clients, from various DoD and other government agencies to systems engineers, and plan space and ground system acquisition programs. Following continued success and expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a new Operations Security Manager to join the team. We are looking for an experienced Security operations manager who can support, coach and motivate team members across a multi-site footprint. You will be a single point of contact for all security issues across your area of the business.

What will you be doing:

Responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery success of their assigned area, including but not limited to managing the onsite Security Teams and supervision, ensuring all staff are trained, briefed and ready to carry out their roles and responsibilities at all times.

Ensure compliance is upheld with all Site Assignment Instructions, Risk assessments and any other specific site documented requirement.

Ensure Service Delivery Partners are fulfilling their contractual obligations through regular reviews, SLA’s, KPi’s and other any agreed deliverables.

Seek to enhance service delivery and develop opportunities to add value to the service.

Maintain strict Data Protection (GDPR) standards, adhering to the policies and procedures put in place in relation to CCTV monitoring, CCTV recording, extracting and sharing of information.

Recruitment and vetting of new staff.

Stakeholder engagement with Clients

Essential Criteria:

Excellent working and practical knowledge of Security Industry legislation, the role of a security officers within a Service delivery environment.

Excellent understanding of how a Security Supply Chain Operates (ideally within a logistics environment)

Excellent understanding and working knowledge of TUPE.

A good people manager who is able to motivate and optimise outputs from Team Members

Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver to deadline.

Flexibility around the working hours and patterns for the role

Commercial skills with the ability to understand and control Profit & Loss

Well versed in the use of social media linked to the recruitment of staff.

Excellent communication skills

Certifications Required:

Valid SIA Front Line (min DS)

IOSH certification

Full Clean Driving Licence

Desirable Criteria:

Level 3 security management qualification

People Management qualification
