The Center serves as a source of expertise, collaboration, and strategic guidance on DEI to advance HHMI’s goals for the scientific workforce.
Our work focuses in these areas:

In 2021, HHMI announced a long-term commitment to advancing DEI goals through continued support of existing efforts as well as new initiatives. One of the newer initiatives is to create a research training program for individuals interested in gaining experience and training in biomedical research. The goal of the HHMI Research Scholars Training Program is to support diversity within the scientific workforce.
