Athletic trainers work with patients/athletes to provide instruction on injury prevention, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate care, and treatment. Will work to expand the programs market share along with the Sports Medicine Leadership. Will help to identify, build relationships with, and ultimately help to secure additional secondary school, college, and youth program contracts.
Is responsible with aiding physicians in procedures, as needed.
Responsible for reviewing medical records prior to appointments to ensure all needed information is available for physician review and if not, works to secure information prior to patient visit.
Responsible for maintaining and monitoring of work schedule.
May provide input to Athletic Directors on budget as it relates to equipment and supply costs needed to maintain safety and high quality care.
Assists in the scheduling of pre-participation school based physicals. The athletic trainer will be present at these events to help build relationships and name recognition amongst athletes and parents.
Responsible for wound care and wound dressing.
Responsible for drawing up medications and/or injectables per physician protocol.
Assists with general housekeeping to provide clean, comfortable, orderly and safe environment.
Reviews quality and appropriateness of services delivered for effectiveness and efficiency using predetermined quality assurance criteria.

Graduate of CAATE approved Athletic Training Program.
Current certification as an Athletic Trainer, issued by the National Board of Certification (BOC) .
CPR Healthcare/BLS certification.

PA Licensed or eligible as Athletic Trainer.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Treat-to-Target Serum Urate versus Treat-to-Avoid Symptoms in Gout Trial (TRUST trial) will test two different treatment strategies for gout. The trial will require two part-time research LPNs who will each manage participants in one of the two treatment strategies. The LPNs will be responsible for following a treatment strategy algorithm that includes gout education, lifestyle counseling, and pharmacologic management. Training on the treatment strategy algorithm will be conducted before any patients are enrolled.
The position will require 40% effort for a minimum of 2-3 years. There will be a mixture of virtual visits and on-site visits at Boston Medical Center. The individual will be actively involved in subject recruitment, data collection, adverse event monitoring and reporting, and ensuring compliance with human subjects’ regulations.

CLASS DESCRIPTION
An Operations Research Analyst conducts management, operational and organizational studies to identify and resolve operating problems and monitors, evaluate the effectiveness of City government services and provide a resource for strategic, fiscal and operational planning. Incumbents receive general supervision from a technical superior. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek. 2. Develop and plan appropriate instructional strategies and alternative delivery strategies when appropriate including but not limited to hybrid, face-to-face and on-line course delivery.
3. Participate in in-service meetings, convocation training, staff development trainings or other activities or programs requested by the Department.
4. Assist and advise students who have problems with assignments, tests, grades, course content, career concerns, and other academic matters.
5. Comply with college policies and directions regarding student testing, record keeping, advanced standing, providing grades on a timely basis, evaluating student performance and maintaining office hours for student assistance and counseling, etc.
6. Maintain competencies as an instructor aligned with the Faculty Quality Assurance System.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of current educational methods and strategies, including learner-centered instruction, assessment, evaluation and collaborative techniques and strategies that address closing the gap in student access and achievement across race, gender and disability.

Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in Physics or Master's degree in related area with 18 graduate credits in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
2. Two (2) years or 4,000 hours of related work experience, if teaching in an applied program.
a. Foreign Transcript Evaluation: If using a foreign transcript for qualification, applicant must provide a course-by-course evaluation report to verify foreign transcripted credit equivalency. A translation of the transcript will not be sufficient to determine equivalency.
