• Understand and contribute toward evolving Tata CMF strategy and lead implementation.
• Fluent in each gateway deliverables and make sure the requirements are met.
• Understand Engineering and business criteria (production and competitiveness) and negotiate changes with the core projects members with attention to timing, budget, and design excellence.

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, the candidate will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and other UI/UX designers. Your designs will be directly reflected in the products developed for the end user and define pathways for future features to pursue.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with both internal and external customers to identify product pain points and get feedback on potential solutions.  
• Plan, gather, and analyze, insights about users through new studies and review of existing data.
• Compile finished, well-documented research findings to deliver meaningful and actionable insights for internal consumption.
• Manage, execute, and analyze usability sessions, with support from other team members. 
• Conceptually iterate on product features, creating wireframes and prototypes that translate customer requirements into cohesive experiences for defined personas.
• This individual will work closely with product managers and product owners to define acceptance criteria for development teams.
• Support an agile process, working with development teams to solve implementation challenges that arise during sprints.  
• This individual won’t directly check in code, but they will need to communicate effectively with the people who do.
• Review UI, enforce UX standards, and ensure product consistency.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Intermediate to Advanced level experience with Sketch or Figma prototyping tools.
• Ability to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, evaluating, and iteration
• Have experience working with Personas.
• Experience with the UX Discovery phase that would include either one or all of the below, 
• Competitive Analysis
• Personas
• User Journeys and User Flows
• UX Wireframes
• Interactive Prototype
• Experience designing enterprise products (portfolio examples required).
• Experience creating interactive prototypes.  
• Experience communicating with technical product managers and development staff.
• Strong oral, and written communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience with B2B Software design will be considered a plus.

As a Senior Jewelry Designer at Ask & Embla, you will play a crucial role in bringing our creative vision to life. Working closely with the Creative Director, you will refine design concepts, develop new styles, and create design briefs for 3D designers. Your responsibilities will encompass translating conceptual ideas into tangible designs, producing detailed tech packs for sampling and production, and ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and quality standards.

What You'll Do:

1. Design Concept Refinement:

• Collaborate with the Creative Director to polish up design concepts, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and market trends.
• Interpret creative briefs and translate them into innovative and marketable jewelry designs that resonate with our target audience.

2. New Style Development:

• Generate new jewelry styles and concepts that complement the Creative Director's vision and enhance the brand's product offerings.
• Conduct research on emerging trends, materials, and techniques to inspire fresh design ideas and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

3. Design Brief Creation:

• Develop comprehensive design briefs for 3D designers, providing clear direction and specifications for rendering and prototyping.
• Collaborate with 3D designers to ensure that design concepts are accurately translated into digital renderings, incorporating feedback and revisions as needed.

4. Tech Pack Production:

• Work closely with the Product Development Manager to ensure that tech packs meet quality standards and facilitate smooth production processes.

5. Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough reviews of design files and tech packs to verify accuracy and completeness, identifying and addressing any potential issues or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that finished products meet design specifications and quality standards before mass production.

6. Creative Collaboration:

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews with cross-functional teams to foster creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to solicit feedback, incorporate input, and refine designs throughout the development process.

Who You Are:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, or related field. Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• At least 3 years in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design and/or Product Design fields
• Proven experience as a jewelry designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative design concepts and technical proficiency.
• An appreciation for Alternative Jewelry is a bonus but not necessary if one is able to adapt to our brand's style
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Rhino, or CAD/CAM software.
• Excellent understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes, materials, and techniques.
• Strong conceptual and creative skills, with the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling designs.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels.
