The Role

Roc Nation, a Live Nation joint venture, is looking for a highly motivated, organized, and enthusiastic individual, who is interested in learning more about the live entertainment and music industries to join Roc Nation Creative this Summer. This internship will allow students to gain first-hand experience in a variety of areas, including but not limited to executing design projects, collaborate on creative initiatives and assist with special creative projects and the day- to-day design needs of the team. • You have some proficiency with a variety of tools (Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, Zeplin, etc.) and you aren’t afraid to try new software and teach yourself new tools, digital or not

• If you have experience with design research, content strategy or creative technology — be sure to mention it

• You have a strong command of the English language—written, read, and spoken—and can clearly articulate the rationale behind your design decisions

Responsibilities:

• Assist Lead Designer in asset production ranging from digital, motion graphics, branding, merchandise, etc.

• Contribute creative efforts across all our clients (Sports, Digital, Team Roc, EQ, etc.)

• Develop an efficient communication process between, creative director, lead designer, and clients

The Simulation, Optimization and Systems (SOS) Group at Autodesk Research is looking for a passionate and skilled research intern for Summer 2024 or earlier at our Toronto office located in the MaRS Discovery District. The ideal intern will conduct research and develop prototype code to solve engineering design optimization problems.

Responsibilities

Conduct original research in developing or applying novel techniques for solving design optimization problems, including but not limited to:

• Shape or topology optimization

• Multidisciplinary design optimization

• Multiphysics design optimization

• System-level or multi-component optimization

• Implement prototypes to test and demonstrate the ideas and methods

• Work with both open-source libraries and in-house libraries to develop the prototypes

• Write documentation of the work, either as academic publication or internal white paper

What You Will Do:

The IT Risk and Internal Audit Consultant will support stakeholder engagement and technical delivery for efforts supporting a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) client with IT controls audit/assessments, remediation, and other related support. The client is responsible for coordinating and monitoring internal controls for the organization, including performing assessments in accordance with OMB Circular A-123, the FISCAM, and assisting other program offices with remediation and other related internal controls tasks. This is an ideal role for someone with an IT audit background who is looking to utilize their skills to support clients internally as a consultant rather than as an external auditor.

The IT Risk and Internal Audit Consultant will have a role in working directly with clients and other organizational stakeholders to support IT internal control efforts, including audits/assessments, remediation, and other ad-hoc efforts. Day-to-day tasks include some or all of the following:

• Performing rigorous audits/assessments of IT controls using industry-standard guidance and leading practices

• Performing walkthrough interviews and maintaining communication with a variety of client stakeholders, including system personnel such as system and database administrators

• Requesting, obtaining, reviewing, and analyzing a variety of artifacts to assist in executing IT controls testing such as security plans, SOPs, system screenshots, and system configuration settings

• Configuration management, including configuration baseline concepts, baseline deviations, baseline maintenance, monitoring for ongoing compliance with a baseline, and industry-accepted baselines such as DISA STIGs and CIS benchmarks

• Ensure all design related matters are compliant with Company Design Standards, executed on time, progress and comments for rectifications and improvements are documented
• Trace, schedule and set up presentations for meetings
• Assist in the recommendation and appointment of consultants, work with the appointed consultants and properties operator during all stages of projects to ensure practical, effective and durable designs at indicated budget
• Coordinate with various functional heads to formulate design standards, including working closely with the procurement team and be conscious of the approved budget
• Review and comment on drawings and tender documents and liaise with Division Heads to address delays and challenges
• Conduct budget review, material research, tender evaluation and interviews
• Visit and analyze site and projects responsible to compile an Architectural design brief. Upon approval by Owner, it will form as basis for recommendation of Architecture consultants for various element of each project
• Conduct site visits to ensure that approved designs, standards and quality are met and any deviations are documented
• Prepare cost projections for permit and construction impact fees, verify calculation and schedules payment of funds
• Assist to develop, update and amend Company Design Standards to meet business objectives and brand strategies
• Build up and maintain a reference library on designs, new products, technical specifications, materials, etc

Job Requirement

• Excellent communication skills, ability to articulate ideas verbally, in writing and drawing
• Diploma in Architecture / Interior Design/ Building Studies or a related discipline
• Familiar with drawing tools and programmes such as Autocad, Photoshop, Sketchup
• Precise, proactive, creative and attention to detail

What You Will Need:

• Mixed-Signal/Analog circuit design for High-Speed I/O Interfaces

• Develop and implement high speed interfaces and analog circuits using the latest CMOS FinFET processes

• Help define circuit requirements and complete design from schematic, layout, and verification to characterization

• Optimize design to meet the specifications for system performance.

What we need to see:

• TX/RX related design experience or is fairly familiar with high-speed SerDes/analog circuit design concepts

• CMOS Analog / Mixed Signal Circuit Design Experience in deep sub-micron process (especially in FINFET)

• Strong background of Cadence custom design tools, various circuit simulators like Hspice, XA, FineSim, Spectre

• Experience in crafting test bench environments for component and top level circuit verification

• Knowledge of Verilog, Verilog-A, Matlab, or similar tools for behavioral modeling of analog and digital circuits is a plus

• Strong debugging and analytical skills
