The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is seeking an experienced Industrial Security Representative for a growing program with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).

The work location is at the Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. The position operates under the guidance of the Leidos Global Solutions Management Operations (GSMO) Industrial Security Representative in the application of Leidos security standards and practices to existing US government facilities identified by the contract. 

Primary Responsibilities:
•Supporting, implementing, and providing guidance to customers and management on security matters pertaining to classified inventory and document control, personnel clearances and access nominations, classification control, visitor/access control, and Contract Security Classification Specifications (DD254) 
•Analyzing, investigating, and preparing reports and/or recommendations for preventative or corrective actions in accordance with legal, contractual, and internal policies
•Implementing Security training, ensuring compliance with customer training requirements and creating training aides
•Providing security briefings to personnel holding collateral clearances as well as to those onboarding or hired as sub-contractors to include submitting appropriate DISA required documentation for new hires, terminations, and other security actions and ensuring information is accurately recorded and maintained

Position Summary:

This position requires requisite knowledge and experience in all disciplines of the industrial security field. This position is responsible to provide security oversight and guidance relative to 32 CFR 117, National Industrial Security Program, program security guides and other directives.  This position will report directly to the Facility Security Officer (FSO).  The successful candidate will possess an extensive breadth of demonstrated business, financial and management skills with knowledge and abilities to ensure effectiveness. Be able to drive constructive change within the organization – bring your best practices to bear and engage / foster process improvement initiatives.  Must possess strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with individuals and teams. This includes, verbally and in writing.  Prior experience as an FSO or AFSO in a multi-faceted environment is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Industrial Security Representative's role is critical in carrying out the FSO’s responsibility for implementing the industrial security program and ensure company and customer’s security requirements are met.

The candidate will be required to conduct facility self-inspections, program security reviews, and participate in government telephonic and in-person interviews and inspections. Produce finished documentation (reports, policy / procedure development, security designs, training and assessments). Maintain data compliance in multiple NISS and DISS accounts.  Maintain security program compliance relative to DD 254s, DOE 470, changed condition packages, FCL sponsorship packages, and responding to DCSA, customer agency, and internal customer inquiries.

The must possess the confidence to speak on behalf of the FSO and the security team when needed, make critical security decisions, and implement security processes to minimize risk and prevent unauthorized access to company/government facilities and proprietary information.  Take independent actions as warranted or in the absence of the FSO.  Bring security risks and concerns to the attention of the FSO and management.

Facilitate providing clear guidance to company employees and subcontractors. Recommend, as necessary, modifications to operations, policies or procedures.  Work as part of a team to demonstrate flexibility and excellent organizational skills.

Management of COMSEC account and associated duties in line with NSA 3/16. Current IAEC-2112 completion or within six months of hiring

Position Requirement:
*Current Top Secret clearance eligibility required.  Additional accesses and clearances may be necessary based on program needs
*Position requires a concurrent crossover to a DoE “Q” clearance
*Bachelor’s Degree with 4-8 years professional experience

*Experience in the end-to-end tasks of clearance processing. Facilitates as necessary the employee interaction / experience with the SSC while engaging with new hires for the timely completion of required tasks
*Experience in conducting security indoctrinations and orientations for newly-hired staff
