Summary of Job Duties:
The Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville is seeking an Associate Director of Executive Education. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the development and delivery of custom executive education programs for organizations in Northwest Arkansas. These programs offer to utilize faculty and external instructors' expertise to help area businesses develop their people and their overall organizations. This position reports to the Executive Director of Executive Education and Strategic Engagement.
Working with faculty, staff, team members, and external partners (clients), the Associate Director is responsible for:
• Developing business relationships with current and potential clients
• Designing and developing training programs in partnership with clients and faculty
• Leading and executing programs
• Generating proposals
• Managing program-related event tasks
• Managing program budgets and program financials
Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education
At least three years of experience in a client or customer-facing role
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience communicating and collaborating with a wide range of people in organizations, including executives
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education
At least five years of experience in a client or customer-facing role
Experience designing learning programs
Familiarity and comfort with developing and managing budgets
