Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables’ data
• Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date
• Process incoming payments and send emails to relevant personnel
• Reconcile the accounts receivables ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status
• Manage filing responsibilities to uphold accurate record-keeping
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accountancy, or Finance.

You will have to upkeep with financial record-keeping ( invoices from suppliers), budgeting (outgoing and incoming expenses), and reporting for accounting (book keeping) . You will also have to also perform clerical duties, such as answering phone calls and emails(reply back to mails), filing paperwork (invoices), and scheduling appointments (clients data entry).

• Sort room bills by companies on a daily basis.
• Pass journals pertaining to adjustments to the Accounts Receivable record.
• Ensure bills are sent within a week after the guests have checked out of hotel.
• Prepare daily reconciliation of balances in aging report with GL balance.
• Prepare proforma invoices to agents/corporate for prepayment.
• Process guest credit card refund
• Assistance in billing
• Monitor group booking payment, ensure post and update daily settlements in Opera Systems
• Prepare and send invoice in City Ledger with proper attachment to Customer
• Relieve or extend any assistance to other accounting colleagues in their absence or whenever the need arise.

Job Specifications:

• Holds a Diploma in Accountancy/Business discipline or equivalent, with 1 year experience of payable process would be advantageous
