Job Description:

a. Corporate Taxation

• Support clients on taxation services as follows:
• Analyze Financial Statements & GL to identify strategies to minimize client’s tax costs, ensure tax compliance and accurate tax filing
• Preparation of corporate tax computations for clients from various industries
• Preparation of ECI and Form C/C-S and the filings to IRAS
• Preparation and filings of withholding taxes to IRAS
• Preparation of application of COR for DTA
• Research on various tax matters
• Any other ad hoc works related to corporate tax

b. Individual Taxation services

• Prepare the computation of clients’ individual taxes, preparation of IR8A and IR21 tax clearance
• Responsible for the e-filing of tax return to IRAS
• Preparation of AIS data

c. Supervisory role

• Coach and provide guidance to Senior / Tax Associates and Tax Interns
• Review tax computations and tax related work prepared by Senior / Tax Associates and/or Tax Interns to ensure accuracy and timely submission

d. Handle tax inquiries and audit from IRAS

e. Responsible for the transfer pricing documentations / projects

f. Assist Managers for any other tax related engagements and/or projects as assigned

g. Provide tax advisory services to clients

h. Administrative functions of tax assignments

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess a Degree, preferably in an accounting/business/tax-related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Singapore Corporate & Individual tax compliance, with coaching / supervisory experience.
• Good knowledge in Singapore Tax system and rules
• ATP / ATA holders are advantageous.
• Those with prior experience in professional service firm is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s financial accounting and corporate reporting of entities.

• Handle a complete set of accounts for entities.

• Responsible for monthly closing, forecasting and preparing reports for management review.

• Handle all accounting-related work and maintain accurate journal entries, expense allocations and financial reports.

• Oversee and comply with timely quarterly GST submissions.

• Perform tax matters.

• Ensure accurate and timely filing of statutory reports to various government agencies.

• Plan and coordinate the annual financial audit process and respond to internal/external auditors/tax agents on audit and taxation matters.

• Any other ad-hoc projects as and when required.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in accountancy or CPA, ACCA or equivalent accounting professional qualification.

• At least 3 - 5 years of related working experience, preferably in SMEs.

• A hands-on professional who is meticulous, able to work independently and adhere to tight reporting deadlines.

• Team player with good interpersonal skills who can work harmoniously with other departments.

Singaporean or PR who meets the prerequisites.
