Job Responsibilities

Job Scope:

• Loading/Unloading and handling units/materials into machine in compliance to SOP.

• Delivery of materials using trolley.

• Consolidation and transfer of unwanted materials for scrap waste.

• Training will be provided.

· Ensuring all incoming goods are received correctly & in good condition.

· Conducting stock takes and prepare inventory reports.

· Maintaining warehouse safety & cleanliness.

· Support sorting, identification & packing.

· Loading & unloading goods from containers.

· Performing & assisting in monitoring day to day operations.

· Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and establish relationships with reliable meat suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure cost-effective and quality meat products.
• Conduct regular inspections of incoming meat shipments to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and industry developments to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Analyze customer preferences and adjust product offerings accordingly.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.
• Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
• Work closely with the finance department to manage and control budgetary aspects related to meat procurement.
• Explore opportunities for cost savings without compromising on product quality.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including chefs and kitchen staff, to understand meat requirements and preferences.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to convey expectations and resolve any issues promptly.

Prerequisites:

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Meat Buyer or in a similar procurement role within the food industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of meat cuts, quality standards, and industry trends.
• Ability to analyze market data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and quality control processes.

Warehouse Assistant (F&B), Singapore

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for warehousing activities including loading and unloading, sampling of incoming materials, account physical receipt from vendors/suppliers, accurate issuance of materials to Production teams and perform timely outbound deliveries. You will assure and maintain a continuous effective support in the daily warehousing, production and supply chain operation, implicating the support to the production output.

The Position:

• Perform and account for physical receipt of materials from vendors/ suppliers.
• Perform sampling of incoming materials and put away to designated storage.
• Carry out timely and accurate issuance of materials to productions as required.
• Liaise operation between productions and warehouse/ 3PL.
• Liaise with other departments as and when required.
• Prepare and execute timely outbound deliveries.
• Ensure and carry out timely and accurate system inventory transactions.
• Compliance of rules and regulations stated by the organization. (e.g. GMP, HACCP, ISO90001, ISO140001, ISO180001& other Company Policies)
• Perform periodic cycle count/ stock take.
• Maintain good housekeeping and good workplace safety awareness.

The Ideal Candidate:

• At least a GCE N/O Level with minimum 1 year of working experience in relevant industry.
• Possess a valid forklift licence and Class 3 driving licence
• Able to lift heavy load up to 25kg and comfortable working in a strong smelling environment
• Proficient in SAP
• Willing to work on shifts and overtime when required
• A team player, independent and meticulous.
