Responsibilities:

• Assist teaching in primary classrooms:
• Supervising and teaching small groups within a whole class or small group setting
• Helping to prepare lesson materials
• Filing and organising student work and resources
• Supervising students during lunchtimes and breaktimes
• Assisting lessons in art, physical education or other subjects, as needed

Requirements:

Requirements

• A diploma or certificate in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
• Experience working with children, preferably within an educational or special needs setting

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact warmly and effectively with students, staff, and parents
• A proactive and flexible approach to classroom duties

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Assistant Teacher will assist the English/Mandarin Teacher and the Principal in the execution of professional duties and responsibilities.

• Working alongside English/Mandarin Teacher, provide appropriate learning experiences for children within an inquiry, play-based context
• Assist the English/Mandarin Teacher in documenting the children's learning through contributions via newsletters, portfolios etc.
• Create a warm and nurturing environment for children
• Build and maintain close partnership with parent

QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or its equivalent.
• Candidates who hold a Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education or its equivalent with at least 1 years of relevant teaching experience are welcome to apply.

Skillmaster Training Centre is a training centre specialising in SSG accredited course utilising Skillsfuture credit.

The candidate will be required to:

• Accounts Receivable - Daily cash collection/NETS/PayNow/Bank Transaction
• Monthly account reviews & efforts to pursue money collections
• Communicate with clients & training partners on ad-hoc requests relating to invoices & grants.
• Monitor grants & claims on government portals (TPGateway/SSG)
• Accounts Payable - Suppliers invoices & payment
• Monthly bank accounts reconciliation. Generate monthly, quarterly, annual financial reports (Profit & Loss, General Ledger, Petty Cash statements)
• Monthly CPF submission & employee payroll (Salary, deductions, reimbursement, bonuses, etc) in accordance with corporate policies.
• Monthly trainers' training fee payroll
• Check classroom is set up & ready before the course begins.
• Assist clients with registration if needed
• Carry out any additional ad hoc tasks as necessary.

Experience with Skillsfuture Singapore (SSG) and TPGateway government systems is a strong advantage but training will be provided.
