Job Responsibilities

• New product planning:

- Analyse industrial trends, market data and customer insights to derive constructive ideas and information for the purpose of NPD.

- Define product competitive positioning and unique selling proposition (USP).

• New product development (NPD):

- Responsible for entire NPD process; from concept initiation to completion, for both new product and reformulations.

- Take the lead in close collaboration with cross functional teams such as Regulatory, Marketing, Supply chain, Contract manufacturers, R&D and Quality, for seamless on-time delivery of products.

- Source for contract manufacturers and liaise with formulators to develop new product; be the main contact point with these suppliers for NPD/ formulation discussions.

- Review formulas and ingredient/ design statements for new product that is compliant with regulations.

- Familiar with the concept of product challenge test, stability, and compatibility studies.

- Research market prices, create accurate product costing data and propose product pricing.

• New product introduction:

- Conduct product training to regional trainer/marketing team and key leaders of salesforce.

• Post-launch product management:

- Analyse product performance and identify actions required.

- Manage product feedback and propose technically sound customer-centric reply.

- React to necessary corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) raised by Quality.

• Contribute for and implement standard procedures (in compliance with industrial standards and QMS requirements) for any product development and management activities or as assigned.
• Perform other duties and projects as necessary to meet company goals.

Requirements

• Degree in Cosmetic Science or Chemistry.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in product development/ management in the cosmetic and skin care industry.

• Bonus if candidates have prior experience with beauty/personal care/medical device.

About the job:

The Postdoctoral Fellow will be a core member of the Institute for Environment and Sustainability’s research team. Research tasks include working on the Center for Water Policy’s cutting-edge work on urban water policy and governance, as well as our burgeoning Center on Climate and Energy. The candidate will lead policy-relevant research projects, take responsibility for project and grant management, and contribute to stakeholder liaison and outreach of the Institute. We are especially looking for candidates who hold a high level of policy research competence in Applied Economics, Public Policy, Sociology, Political Science, Environmental Science or in a related field. In particular, candidates should have demonstrable interest, work, and/or research experience on the policy and governance aspects of water, climate and energy. All candidates should have a strong willingness to contribute to IES’s mission and to engage with new topics and research tools.

Job Responsibilites

· Design, implement and lead research projects under IES’s various research programmes
· Prepare high quality research papers on topics related to IES’s core research themes suitable for publication in high-tier academic journals
· Contribute to grant and institute-level reporting requirements and funding proposals/applications

Job Requirements

· PhD in Applied Economics, Public Policy, Sociology, Political Science, Environmental Science or in a related field.
· Excellent analytical skills with knowledge of:
- big data analytics, economics, econometrics, laboratory/field experiments, game theory and/or agent-based modelling
- anticipatory policy design and practice, including path dependency analysis
· Applied social science experience, including independently designing, conducting surveys and analysing its data
· Preference for those with good and relevant publication records / working papers

Job Description

The National University of Singapore invites applications for Research Assistant in the Department of Pharmacology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.

Our academic and research staff have outstanding research publication and grant funding track records in research areas such as cancer pharmacology, neuropharmacology, immunopharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and drug discovery and development. Pharmacology is the anchoring department for the Drug Discovery and Optimisation Platform (DDOP), Memory Aging Cognitive Centre (MACC) at NUHS, and the NUS Neuroscience Phenotyping Core (NPC). The Department also has a strong presence in University-level research institutes including the Cancer Science Institute (CSI), and the Life Sciences Institute (LSI) Neuroscience and Immunology Programs.

We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Research Assistant to assist in community based studies on early detection and prevention of cognitive decline in seniors.

Appointments will be made on a 1 year- contract basis with option to renew.

Purpose of the post

To assist investigators in conducting research studies according to study protocol, Singapore Guideline for Good Clinical Practice (SGGCP) and other applicable regulatory and ethical requirements as well as institutional policies.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Coordinate the submission of new ethics applications, study amendments and annual reports.
2. Work closely with principal investigators, research fellows, and program manager to execute studies.
3. Conduct research study activities like participant recruitment, data collection, data analysis and data management
4. Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and record keeping in accordance with institutional policies, ethics requirements and local regulations.
5. Assist in performing literature searches and producing reviews of the literature to support the delivery of research projects.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist with routine preliminary analyses; maintain research data, write summary reports, and report findings to investigator.
2. Provide research updates to study team on regular basis.
3. Assist with any other duties of a similar nature that are delegated by the PI
4. Maintain confidentiality on participants’ data.

Qualifications
