Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and enhance existing compliance programme that is effective in dealing with compliance risks.
• Manage and monitor key compliance activities and report on a regular basis as to their status and actions taken to mitigate such risks.
• Work with respective business/support departments, HQ etc, as well as third parties, proactively and collaboratively in the implementation of compliance programme and to resolve issues.
• Maintain manual on Compliance processes and procedures and ensuring this is kept updated.
• Advise on the business activities that are in or out of scope, per current/future regulatory status as well as evaluate key outputs from regulators, industry bodies and advising Management and respective business/support units of the impact.

Work you will do

This position aims to provide transformational support to internationally active banks operating in the Southeast Asia (SEA) Region in the Financial Services Industry. You will work alongside our clients to help them to carry out transformation processes in a post-merger environment to make decisions and implement solutions through driving business value through execution and implementation.

You will work across all key segments within banking and drive the latest and best-in-class transformation narrative for our banking sector clients across SEA. Typical engagements which you could be involved in include:

• Accompanying compliance and regulatory risk management challenges in the context of bank mergers, including complex program management
• Translating regulatory requirements and compliance issues into business requirements, performing integrity risk assessments, and reporting on client integrity risks
• Managing large transformation and migration projects within financial services, including the establishment of quality assurance, quality control and quality improvement programs
• Providing regulatory response support
• Assisting in on-site inspections

You will exercise strong analytical and critical thinking skills, solve complex problems, communicate your findings, conduct impact assessment, and change management. Finally, you will work independently and collaboratively in a (global) team.

You will support our clients in their transformation journey by:

• Identifying business requirements/overall strategy and vision, and any opportunities for efficiencies in existing process / service design.
• Transformation and Migration risk analysis, risk mitigation, risk acceptance
• Monitor and maintain risk log, facilitate risk reporting, and escalate if necessary.
• Support on regulatory engagement
• Participating in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues.
• Maintaining responsibility for completion and accuracy of work products

Requirements:

If you are someone with:

• Tertiary qualification from a well ranked institution.
• Minimum 10+ years of working experience in the Consulting Industry and Financial Services Industry – with focus on Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance
• Has achieved success in developing businesses at leading player(s) within the Financial Services Industry and/or growing a consulting practice in both team and revenue.
• Extensive know-how and Financial Services experience with deep knowledge across the complete products and services spectrum in Private and Institutional Banking and Investment Management
• Deep knowhow about E2E process based on previous experience in leading roles in Financial Services in Banking
• Experience leading strategy, definition, and implementation with these areas:

o Merger and post-merger environment of an internationally active bank

o Target Operating Model-led transformation to enable key drivers of change in financial services for regulatory change.

• Experience in Regulatory engagement and especially regulatory response
• Proficient in excel and PowerPoint usage to present recommendations to clients and to ensure a stakeholder-adequate communication.
• Experience in design, implementation and execution of Quality Assurance and Control processes within large transitions and or migrations
• Exceptional interpersonal, team building, and communication skills showcasing executive presence with demonstrated ability to manage senior client stakeholders.

Job Purpose

You will be responsible for planning and executing IT audits for the Great Eastern Group of Companies. You will also assist the Singapore Chief Internal Auditor, Group Internal Audit, to provide an independent and objective assurance to improve the Group’s IT control environment.

The Job

· Participate or lead in the planning and execution of audit assignments to ensure quality and timeliness of reports and deliverables;

· Develop risk-based audit plans and testing programs;

· Ensure coverage of relevant regulatory requirements and recommend improvements to corporate policies, procedures and practices to enhance IT control design and enforcement;

· Support business audits through integrated or thematic audits by providing technology expertise and evaluating IT controls supporting the business operations;

· Manage or participate in other ad-hoc assignments including special projects and investigations;

· Contribute to continuous monitoring of technology risk areas. Establish and maintain strong relationship with technology stakeholders including risk management and control groups;

· Assist in the follow-up with auditees on outstanding audit findings through the issuance of Audit Tracking Report and verification of resolved findings;

· Ensure that audit operating standards and procedures are observed, and requirements of the Quality Assurance Review are met; and

· Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.

· Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.

· Highlights any potential observations /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

Our Requirements

· 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in IT security governance, IT Infrastructure/Cybersecurity/outsourcing operations, Technology Risk Management in banking or FI;

· Knowledge or exposure to cybersecurity controls, infrastructure technology (i.e. cloud security, network, virtualization), ethnical hacking, application security, API, micro services and secure coding standards;

· Familiar with the regulatory requirements specific to technology risk management (e.g. MAS, RMiT, OJK);

· Good report writing, communication and presentation skills;

· Complete audit work papers and reports with minimal intervention by the audit manager/team lead;

· Provide continuous monitoring of technology areas, engage technology control partners to upkeep with the changing IT risk landscape of the group;

· Attention to details to ensure completeness and accuracy of audit coverage;

· Strong analytical skill, time management, independent and collaborative;

· Able to interact well with all levels of staff;

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Accounting, preferably hold one or more of these professional certifications (e.g. CISA, CISM, CEH, CISSP, CCSP);

· High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork;

· Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
