Purpose of the role:

• You will be working on the largest retail account, handling quality issues that you cant always see, so viewing these from afar via teams etc might need to happen, you need to be organised and capable of managing many quality issues at once.

• Maintaining an accurate quality control report system, documenting and recording all QC checks in both UK, Europe and Far East Supply.
• Provide and maintain a weekly tracking document for quality controlled product. This will detail what quality controls inspections have been carried out, a summary of the results, pass/ fail rates and details of the supplier/ manufacturer responsible. If a fail the value of the credit that is being requested and a breakdown of potential cost reimbursement. This will include all labour and transport costs incurred and also a charge for QC work undertaken that we will expect the split to pay. Where an item fails a credit must be received within 4 weeks of failure date.

Requirements:

• Degree educated or comparable qualification and / or experience
• 5 GCSE grades A/B or O Levels, including English and Maths
• Extensive experience in retail equipment/ interiors or comparable industry
• Extensive familiarity with Microsoft packages

Your new role
Working within a dedicated Product Compliance and Quality function, you will collaborate with stakeholders in R&D, Supply Chain, and Marketing to ensure relevant compliance and legislation in all relevant territories is understood and maintained. Responsibilities

• Overseeing the operation and whole function of QAQC department
• Establish, review and continuous improvement for Food Safety Management System (SFA Regulations / FSSC 22000 / HALAL / Customers’ requirement) and documentation.
• To lead the QAQC team towards managing, maintaining and food safety management system.
• Review and improve working procedure/criteria for manufacturing processes.
• Overseeing in export country registration, review of importing countries requirement and liaising with regulatory agencies.
• Assisting in laboratory set-up / Overview external lab testing Parameter
• Study the export /import, rule and regulation of the country
• Main point of contact for Government regulatory agencies and certification bodies.
• Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior
