Position Summary:

Provides strategic leadership for the HR Business Partner (HRBP) team for the Americas (United States, Canada, and South America) in alignment with the Company’s strategy and long-term goals. Ensures that HRBPs partner closely with business leaders to apply and implement effective people and organizational solutions that achieve results. Develops, communicates, and provides leadership for implementation of effective HR solutions. Coaches and develops HRBP team. Acts as thought leader and strategic advisor to the CHRO and other members of the senior leadership team. Collaborates effectively with peer HR leadership team members. Synthesizes enterprise needs and leverages business acumen and people insights to offer options and solutions that positively influence outcomes.
- As a member of the HR leadership team, contributes to the development of global human resources strategy and formulation of human capital solutions and their implementation.
- Leverages business insights to ensure broader HR team adapts to Company’s needs in real-time with right-sized solutions that also help drive overarching human capital strategy.
- As leader of the HR Business Partner team in the Americas, coaches the HRBP team in building and leading people plans to drive results based on business goals and strategies.
- Leverages problem solving experience to identify viable options for people challenges and help broader team including business leaders find a “best fit” to chart a path forward.
- Acts as trusted advisor to Company’s senior leaders including coaching leaders on full range of people matters including performance and change management.
- Consults with business leaders to help provide insight and solutions that solve complex problems and then supports the execution of solutions through effective change management practices.
- Helps drive the maturation of the talent pipeline by supporting leaders as they identify key skills, future talent needs and talent gaps, develop performers of all capabilities and ensure highest performers are being actively engaged, challenged, and retained to help drive business success and a healthy work environment where everyone can succeed.
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in Human Resources, Employment Law, related field, or a demonstrable equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience
- 10+ years of experience leading people and teams in an HR leadership role including managing professional and senior level HR roles while demonstrating the ability to translate business strategy and challenges into human capital solutions
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior HRBP with a proven track record of providing consultative support to help business leaders make complex decisions, designing and delivering an HR agenda in line with business priorities, and supporting key business leadership teams
- Previous experience in financial services or a heavily regulated business is desired
- Experience managing complex employee relations and change management activities such as restructuring and organizational design while complying with legal and regulatory requirements
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with employees of all levels
