• The Deputy Head of GTES – Traffic Engineering leads the Group’s Traffic Engineering department.
• The Traffic Engineering department undertakes all traffic engineering aspects of the Group’s 4 highways.

JOB TASK

 1.         Leadership and Strategy:

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Traffic Engineering department in alignment with divisional and organisational goals.
• Collaborate with the Head of GTES division to develop and implement strategic plans for the department
• Develop and implement divisional goals, objectives, and performance metrics aligned with the overall company strategy.
• Jointly assist and support the Head of GTES together with other Deputy Head of GTES in the management of the GTES division.

2.      Traffic Engineering:

• Drive the development of the following:
• Traffic enhancement strategies to maximise toll collection

• Lead transportation planning for ALR’s highways to ensure safe, smooth and efficient traffic flows – this includes:
• Traffic forecasting and assessing interchange / accessibility design along the highways
• Review and coordinate proposed interchange upgrading in terms of design configuration, road safety, capacity and performance
• Review and assess all third party applications for new accesses/connectivity to avoid adverse traffic impacts to ALR’s highways
• Develop and maintain inventory and database of traffic volumes and movement along ALR’s highways
• Analysis and monitoring of traffic data and accident data
• Preparation of comprehensive traffic analysis/forecast/reports, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision making
• Advise and feedback to GMEI on the installation, testing, commissioning and operations of Traffic Control and Surveillance System equipment, such as traffic light systems, traffic counters, CCTV, VMS and speed detectors to ensure smooth and effective operations of TCSS equipment to reduce traffic congestion and accidents along the highway.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and effective implementation of the identified traffic engineering strategies, and in support of other company initiatives where applicable

 3.      Technology Integration:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation within traffic engineering function
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies in traffic planning/forecasting, and lead initiatives to integrate new solutions to enhance the formulation of traffic engineering strategies and the improvement of road safety

4.      Stakeholder management:

• Collaborate with government agencies, relevant authorities, municipalities and other stakeholders to address transport and traffic issues, and facilitate the implementation of traffic engineering strategies where applicable.
• Cultivate positive relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and community representatives to facilitate collaboration and address concerns

We are seeking for a Level 2 Azure Cloud Engineer based in Cyberjaya Malaysia, you will be dedicated to improving and supporting our managed services customer environments. The team provides expert support and works towards ensuring our customers experience improved reliability and security over time.

In this role, you will be part of an experienced cloud engineering team where you will be escalated by our service desk to resolve customer requests, respond to alerts, implement changes and proactively monitor customer cloud environments.

We are looking for someone with Azure base troubleshooting experience and who wants to further enhance their career deeper as a cloud engineer. Responsibilities

• Working on service requests to configure customer environments or provide information and troubleshooting on L1 and L2 issues
• Investigate incidents and outages across the public cloud platform
• Respond to escalations and ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner
• Monitor customer environments for trends and problems
• Develop proactive solutions that lead to a reduction in service ticket volumes while maintaining operational health and following appropriate change processes
• Maintain compliance targets for all customer environments

• Min 3 years of experience in System, Server or Network end user support
• Great communication skills and ability to excel in a complex environment, collaborating seamlessly with customers and colleagues across different locations.
• Familiarity with the ITIL framework and proficiency in using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Experience in working on a 12-hour rotational shift will be added advantage.
• Able to work on a 12-hour rotational shift, including weekends, ensuring the seamless functioning of our cloud services day and night.

The CX Systems Engineer is responsible for maintaining physical hardware and/or physical or virtual operating system platforms and provide proactive and reactive support services to maintain the availability and reliability of the client environment and application stacks.

Role Responsibilities

The CX Systems Engineer is responsible for (but not limited to):

• Installing, testing and maintaining systems software and firmware for assigned projects. Developing drivers for specialised software, such as graphics and communications.
• Monitoring performance system performance for all corporate platforms. Improving the performance of operating systems and firmware.
• Maintaining an automation first mindset and using of Automation tooling such as Ansible to administer servers on a day-to-day basis
• Working with a company team of hardware engineers, systems and applications programmer to complete projects to customer’s requirements and scheduled completion date.
• Assisting the sales force with pre-sales activity such as proposal preparation, systems demonstrations and presentations.

Knowledge
