The role

We are looking for a Client Success Manager (CSM) with proven experience in customer success and/or business analysis, specifically within the Energy space. The candidate should ideally possess expertise in the SaaS industry, strong commercial awareness, excellent networking skills and ability to listen and understand customer needs.

The opportunity and responsibilities

You will get the opportunity to develop and execute product-driven and segment-focused client retention and growth strategies, as well as helping clients realize the full value of Rystad Energy’s databases and analytics to help them deliver on their business outcomes. You will also work closely with internal cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, market research and client training to drive engagement and expansion across your client remit.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary post-sale point of contact to develop strong client advocates that enable the CSM to become a trusted advisor to our clients.
• Jointly define success criteria with clients by understanding their business challenges and implementing an engagement plan throughout the subscription period
• Onboard new users and carry out follow-up training to achieve maximum adoption and usage growth rates
• Partner with account managers to provide insights on client health with a focus on adoption, expansion opportunities and renewals

Skills & Attributes for Success

• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum one (1) years of experience in relevant sectors such as Energy, Finance, SaaS, or Consulting
• Passionate about developing close relationships with our customers and enabling their long-term success
• Proven knowledge of Energy markets is a key strength
• Proven understanding of valuation models and economic analysis is highly desired

Key Responsibilities

Overview of the Role

Rystad Energy is seeking a proven Account Manager with a strong track record of strategic account management and business development to manage, retain, and grow the firm’s largest Global Accounts in APAC. The ‘Senior Account Manager – Global Accounts’ will report to Senior Vice President, Head of Commercial – Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. The Role:

The Coal Analyst will be a member of the small, dedicated coal markets team (sitting within the larger Power Team) and is responsible for maintaining and developing our coal database and carrying out varying analysis within the sector. The work consists of collecting, modelling, and analyzing coal related data and presenting it to clients (both internal and external). 

The work will give you a deep understanding of the long-term outlook for coal demand and supply and how fast it will be substituted for by other energy sources including renewable energy (such as solar, wind, hydro) and traditional sources of electricity (such as gas & nuclear), along with storage and hydrogen. You will work in close collaboration with the power team and our consultants and business developers in different offices around the world.

Key responsibilities / tasks:

·         Analyze international and country level coal markets to understand supply & demand and price movements for both thermal and metallurgical coal.

·         Gather country and asset level coal related data where appropriate to populate our in-house data base. Data includes: coal production, exports, imports and consumption volumes of the various types of coal

·         Research and analyze coals’ role in the energy transition plans for individual countries and understand what it means for future thermal and metallurgical coal demand

·         Create algorithms to crawl coal data from official sources

·         Be able to verify and competently determine the most trustworthy data where conflicting values are available

·         Maintain and update the database with the most up to date information

·         Take ownership of delivering reports and commentaries on topical events and conduct presentation with clients

·         Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts

 Tasks

·         Create and maintain effective data pipelines from complex and multiple sources to well-organized databases, dashboards or internal tools.

·         Analyze large amounts of data: propose innovative approaches to interpret and merge possibly conflicting sources into coherent datasets.

·         Identify outliers and propose mechanisms to mitigate their impact on commercial databases.

Key Responsibilities

Office Administration

• Manage relationships with landlord, vendors and service providers including updating Contract Management software.

Rystad Energy is seeking a Client Success Head for APAC who has a strong track record of leading and managing multi-national teams of Client Success/Customer Service personnel. The APAC Client Success Head will report to the Global Head of Client Success (based in Oslo) as well as the APAC Commercial Head (based in Singapore).
