We currently have a requirement for an entry level Administrator to work in our Canberra office to provide technical guidance and knowledge to an important client of ours.

Shadowing a more experienced team member you will be well trained and mentored on the suite of applications we support which include various COTs applications as well as MS SharePoint, MS Dynamics and AEM.  You will be dealing directly at times with the client so we do require highly developed communication, engagement and negotiation skills with an enthusiasm on achieving high levels of customer service and satisfaction.

• Monitoring the assignment group queue and completing activities within your skillset.
• Assisting end users with any enquiries.
• Shadowing with a more experienced team member.
• Training and becoming more familiar with our systems.

Your Experience and Characteristics:

• Entry level experience with onsite SharePoint environment administration.
• Experience with SharePoint, Dynamics or AEM desirable
• Basic Windows Server administration exposure.
• Solid understanding of IIS, Active Directory and Exchange to SharePoint.
• Ability to pick new skills up quickly.
• As you will be dealing with end users we require you to be personable and have strong communication skills.
• IT degree / Diploma beneficial.

Position Summary

Your main focus will be to support the Senior Finance Analysts on their accounts from a finance point of view, supporting the delivery of their planned financial outcomes each year. This will require you to understand revenue, cost and AOP on the accounts and related balance sheets, ensuring compliance with accounting policies, GAAP, internal audit, and SOX.

The Key Responsibilities and Areas Of Focus

Performance Management
 

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all month-end close activities in line with the account and DXC reporting calendar.
• Providing financial reports that accurately reflect financial performance of the account.
• Assist in the review of the Contracts/Master Service Agreement in terms of Financial and Pricing clauses (such as COLA, price changes, volume commitments etc.) termination, SLA clauses and benchmarking related activities.
• Support all the planning cycles (Strategic Planning, Operating plans, forecasts etc.) with high level of accuracy and thorough understanding of the business dynamics in collaboration with the business at the account level.
• Ensure a complete understanding of the cost at the account level, including the basis of labour charges and non-labour charges.
• Provide variance analysis between actuals and forecast/budget including sold and actual margin.
• Contributes to the generation of reporting, commentary, and presentation of analytical outputs in a meaningful way        
• Support the forecast process with the account level and maintain working files and models to support the process including view of backlog & sales pipeline.
• Monitoring Unbilled, deferred and Revenue at Risk related activities.
• Support optimization of cash collection through timely billing at an account level

Control & Compliance
 

• Participate in Balance Sheet Reviews, Asset Impairment Reviews, EAC reviews on a monthly and/or quarterly basis
• Support and provide information as necessary to finance support functions such as controllership and SOX compliance teams as and when requested
• Participate and support internal and external audits as necessary
• Maintain a strong control environment for assigned areas

Other expectations
 

• Build and maintain productive, beneficial relationships with Account Managers and delivery management.
• Build strong relationship with Finance leadership and other business functions across the organization. Partner with deliver/sell and other stakeholders to resolve various operational/strategic level challenges faced on the ground.
• Participate in the training initiatives.

The Role
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist with the process and analysis of oil samples and will require a pro-active and team orientated approach, to work effectively within a well-structured team whilst ensuring a safe working environment is maintained. Reporting to the Laboratory Superintendent, you will undertake general wet chemistry duties and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Routine samples analysis
• Efficient and accurate sorting, labelling and preparation of samples
• Conducting tests on oil, grease and coolant
• Entering data into LIMS
• Maintaining laboratory supplies
• General laboratory housekeeping, maintenance and calibration
• Data correlation
• Calibration and maintenance of equipment
• Assist in preparing laboratory standards and general housekeeping

 
About You
If you have previous laboratory experience or are a recent graduate with relative qualifications this will be viewed advantageously. It is essential that you have strong communication, interpersonal skills as well as sound technical & problem-solving capabilities. If you have also had previous exposure to instrumentation such as Auto Titrators, Viscometers, Particle Counters, FTIR, GC and ICP, your application will be highly regarded.

What this job involves

The Assistant Valuer will provide support, analytical and technical assistance to Directors within the Brisbane Valuations & Advisory team

• Providing timely, accurate valuations under supervision, to support the pitching and delivery of client transactions.
• Undertaking financial and sensitivity analysis to support business winning teams.
• Undertaking data verification and audit.
• Compiling and verifying market evidence for reports.
• Preparing, editing and modifying computer cashflow models.
• Providing direct assistance as required to enable Valuations team to effectively undertake its functions.
• Working closely with Sales and Leasing Services team to ensure maintenance and alignment of technical competency.
• Attending client functions and seminars.
• Leveraging research capacity by circulating relevant market data and sales analysis.

Desired experience and technical skills

The candidate must have a keen interest in the commercial real estate market and a basic understanding of influences in this sector.

Tertiary qualified in property valuation, with a view to gaining registration with relevant professional authorities.

About the Opportunity
 

The role is an in-house administrative role which will involve supporting various partners & directors within the Office of General Counsel. You will work in a supportive in-house team environment dealing closely with all areas and levels of the organisation.

To be considered for this role, you should have at least 2 years legal administration experience.

As an Administration Assistant in our Office of General Counsel your impact will be seen by:

• Diary and inbox management – scheduling meetings, managing correspondence and ensuring an effective use of time by team members

• Management of the team’s professional learning requirements

• Assisting with file management (electronic & hard copy);

• Supporting your direct reports with document creation and formatting when needed in microsoft and google documents;

• Assisting with expense claims, travel arrangements, couriers and various team related tasks; and

• Providing focussed and pragmatic solutions to administration problems.

About you

As a successful candidate, you will have:

• Experience working within teams of lawyers, supporting and taking direction from senior lawyers

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities whilst working under the pressure of deadlines and multitasking

• Well-developed interpersonal and commercial skills, as well as an ability to build relationships and influence with impact;

• Self-motivated individual who displays a pro-active style, has exceptional attention to detail and desire to provide excellent service

The role:

As a Personal Care Attendant, you will be required to provide low care duties to our residents including:

• Shower assistance

• Medication prompting

• Supported evening care assistance

• Occasionally you may fulfil a sleepover shift (Sleepover pay applies)

• Respond to on-site emergency callouts when required and coordinate emergency service respondents

Having a vibrant people-centric focus will see you thrive in this role, as will:

• Prior experience as a personal care attendant role or similar

• Aged Care Certificate
