We are looking for a Quality Engineer who will be responsible for maintaining the Site Food Safety and Quality Program. The Quality Engineer will support product quality / manufacturing failure investigations, define investigational strategy, determine root cause and implement timely corrective actions.
Role responsibilities:
Recommends and implements modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.
Performs fill weights compliance audits verify processes are in control using Statistical Process Control (SPC) (histograms, CpK, etc), then recommends and implements modifications of existing fill weights to achieve optimum Quality within the limits of equipment capabilities
Provide training as needed, develop and/or review product verification and validation protocols.
Perform Hygiene reviews and support in driving hygiene improvement projects
Performing health check of Critical Control Point (CCPs) and Quality Control Points (QCPs)
Support and quality point of contact for Digital conversion projects (Shopfloor paper works and Quality Management System)
Drives improvement projects of Cleaning and Disinfection (Cleaning in Plant/Cleaning Out of Place/ Chemical Management)
Review of clean / hygiene design of equipment and facility

What you’ll do

Conduct viable and non-viable environmental monitoring as per current procedures
Effectively manage, coordinate and complete all sterile area entry training and revalidation
Perform risk assessment to ensure aseptic best practices are followed
Ensure training records are correct and complete
Ensure QNs and OOSs are reported and investigated in a timely manner
Facilitate effective CAPA implementation
Provide advice on Microbiological quality related matters to all personnel entering sterile area
Provide regular feedback to all personnel entering sterile area on aseptic behaviors and technique

Impact and Contribution
This role is part of the CCO Financial Crime Risk team and support the Group Regulatory and Control Operations team. As their direct Line 1 Risk function, we are responsible for providing end-to-end risk advisory services across project implementation, issue and incident management, control development and uplift.
In this role, we are looking for someone with some or all of the following attributes:

Your Responsibilities
Provide advice and guidance to the Business in relation to FC queries, including internal policies and external obligations, AML/CTF Act, AML/CTF Rules Instrument
Provide support to Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) as required around new guidance, policy implementation, relevant AUSTRAC guidance impacting RACO
Assist Senior Manager in supporting CBA Financial Crime Operations team in India in maintaining compliance with FC obligations
Support the business in determining whether a compliance breach has occurred and an incident is required or where a control gap is determined and an issue needs to be established
Assist the business in performing the root cause analysis of issues/incidents and identifying opportunities for control improvements
Review and assess the impact to Financial Crime Operations of guidance provided by AUSTRAC or FCC (e.g. new internal policies/guidance)
Assist in the completion of monthly Governance Risk Reports
Contribute to a proactive risk and control culture and collaborate with the business
Responsible for ensuring risks are profiled and captured in the Risk Profile and updated when risk trigger events occur
Responsible for ensuring the correct risk and controls overlay the end to end process mapping and documentation management to support the control process
Experience
Ability to analyse/identify financial crime risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions
Understand Operations and/or Technology Controls and ability to apply them to new technology being implemented into the Bank
Detailed knowledge and understanding of FC obligations, AML/CTF Act and Rules Instrument, AUSTRAC Guidance, as well as internal policies, processes and frameworks

Support RBS Lines of Business with the implementation of new Non-Financial Risk Frameworks and Policies including:
Ensure that the Risk management activities (supplier risk assessment refreshes, model policy requirements) are being carried out in a timely, accurate and complete manner across RBS and appropriate ratings/tierings have been applied
Manage workshops across RBS to ensure BU/SUs are aware of the Group requirements with respect to Supplier Management and Model Policy
