The Role

This role will support and partner with our Defence and National Security Service Group to implement Aurecon’s health and safety strategy and facilitate implementation of the H&S Management System and processes for continuous improvement. The role requires strong partnering with the Defence and PDS (Project Delivery Services) leadership team to understand business needs and act as an enabler to current and future business opportunities.

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.

• Provide general H&S advisory services to the Defence service group.
• Conduct site audits, facilitate risk mitigation planning and provide advice and assurance to project sites as well as managing workers compensation claims.
• Consult and provide advice on technical H&S advice to projects and managers.
• Respond to business needs to ensure safe outcomes for our people and our business.
• Improve connection to other business teams, creating more alignment and consistency. 
• Support development and delivery of H&S initiatives/programs in line with the overarching Aurecon H&S Strategy.
• Work closely with Systems and Governance roles on H&S reporting and governance priorities. 

What we are looking for

• Strong experience specifically in Health and Safety Management.
• Tertiary level qualification in Health and Safety or related field, including Engineering, Science, or Business.

• Exposure to working in high risk industries as well as demonstrated experience with H&S management documentation review, development, communication, and implementation.
• Strong technical background, including knowledge of applicable legislation, acts, regulations, codes of practice and standards
• Experience in embedding incident investigation/analysis, risk assessments and robust corrective actions
• Superior interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and communication skills (both written and verbal).

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales for our Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business. This role will cover the regions of NSW, QLD and NZ.

Reporting to the General Manager, this role is responsible for developing sales strategy and design sales execution infrastructure to support business needs. Additionally it will perform sales analysis while utilising strategic planning, marketing strategies and execution on the ground to achieve revenue, market share, division margin and operating profit targets for ANZ. 

For the right person, this role can be based in Sydney or Brisbane.

• Accountability for the results of sales revenues, market share growth and division margin
• Cascading the vision, strategy, objectives and encouraging teamwork to contribute to the achievement of overall business targets

Of critical importance to the successful execution of this role is the ability to liaise with End Users, Rural Retail Store Managers and Staff, Local Veterinarians and Agricultural Department personnel; attendance at Conferences, preparation and delivery of Technical Training Events, Technical detailing of company products to Producers, and assistance in the planning and implementation of marketing and product promotions.

• The Territory Sales Manager sits within the BioPharma + ID Sub-Business Unit of the local Ruminant Business Unit within the country’s Animal Health organization and reports to the Regional Sales Manager or Regional Sales Supervisor

• Our organisations Animal Health operates within the pharmaceutical industry, which in Australia is both highly regulated and very competitive.

• The organisation’s and your success also depends on a high level of market penetration and effective management of emerging and existing customers. • Provide Technical and Product Training to Distributor staff and undertake On-Farm calling in tandem, or individually, on local Livestock Primary Producers to sell the company’s range of solutions and products

What You Must Have

• Tertiary qualified preferred (Life Science + Commercial qualification ideal)

• Relevant commercial experience in a ‘Sales’ related role (Life Science related industry ideal)
