Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of a Teacher shall include the following but not limited to:

1. Plan, prepare and deliver lessons for up to 4 classes of General Paper and/or Project Work for either the JC1 or JC2 level
2. Be part of a department committee looking into one or two of the following areas: content development, assessment & standards, and remediation & enrichment
3. Be part of the year-end Project Work assessment
4. Tailor and apply pedagogy that may attend to different learnings of the students
5. Evaluate and provide feedback on students’ performance via assignments and assessments
6. Monitor students’ social development through counselling and working with parents
7. Work with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. parents) to ensure meeting the pastoral and cognitive needs of the students
8. In-charge of at least one co-curricular activity or committee
9. Participate in departmental meetings, parents’ teacher meetings and any other school-wide training events

Job Requirements

• A good undergraduate degree in the relevant discipline
• Relief teaching/ tutoring experience preferred
• Passion to teach the age group of students from 13 to 18 years old

Cleaning Service Duties Ensure a timely and accurate response to all cleaning requests. Work in partnership with the Ward Team, Facilities Team Leader/Assistant Facilities Manager. Assist in monitoring and maintaining cleaning standards and infection control practices in the department as appropriate. Maintain the integrity and reputation of the department by effective communication and harmonious attitudes with patients, staff and visitors. Ensure patient dignity and privacy is respected at all times and report where you feel this has been breached. Safe use of cleaning equipment/assemble and dismantle cleaning equipment; order stock. Use effective and efficient cleansing/decontamination techniques across a range of skills. Suction clean/dry mop floors, spot clean floors and remove spillages. High dusting, damp dusting furniture, fixtures, fittings and ledges. Spot clean internal glass as necessary. Cleansing of wash hand basins, sinks, showers, WCs and fittings. Replenish supplies.
