Parameta Solutions, the data and analytics division of inter-broker dealer TP ICAP, is a leading global provider of OTC Market Data. From pre to post trade, their solutions help clients manage complex markets more effectively.
In May 2022, the firm became an FCA authorized benchmark administrator. This license has allowed the company to take on administration of the nine TP ICAP interest rate swaps benchmarks that were previously administered by Moorgate Benchmarks. In April 2023, the firm was also approved as an ESMA authorised benchmark
administrator, making it the first IDB to administer OTC benchmarks and indices across Europe AND the UK.

Role Overview
An exciting hybrid opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to be part of a team charged with the implementation and support of Global Trading Systems. This is a high profile business & external client facing role that works with the core technologies that make TPICAP the leader in the electronic trading business. The team manages and delivers large real-time data sets used by global financial institutions. You will be joining a highly adaptable and self-motivated team of employees, implementing and supporting our Trading infrastructure platforms and applications. Critical to the role is focus on day-to-day support and implementation of TP ICAP trading systems, documentation, and automation of existing procedures. The candidate will need to maintain and develop internal customer relationships and participate in team building exercises.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support real-time Data/Data flow on a minute by minute basis
- Support applications running on Linux and Windows Operating Systems
- Familiarity with the Linux OS environment will be preferred.
- Diagnose/Fault find Data/Systems problems
- Configure/Format data for external clients
- Liaise with other support team members globally to resolve customer/system/installation/production issues
- The role includes some weekend work
- The role will typically involve shift work and coverage during public holidays
- Responsibility for ensuring that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with operational risk requirements (e.g. cultural behaviors, security policies and regulatory requirements)
- Complete any and all mandatory trainings by the required deadlines
- Act with integrity and due skill, care and diligence in carrying out your duties and
- Any other duties requested by Data and Analytics Management
Experience / Competencies:
Essential
- Minimum of 4 years IT experience in the financial markets
- Understanding of Linux/Unix Operating System and commands & shell-scripting
- General understanding of basic networking concepts (e.g. routers, firewalls, VLAN switches)
- Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel using Real-Time data
Competency Focus:
- The candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge of at least 2 of the following:
- RMDS/TREP backbone
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems
- Scripting Python or Linux-Shell scripting
- Configuration of Geneos ITRS monitoring software
The following knowledge will be a distinct advantage:
· Refinitiv Contributions Channel
· FIX protocol as used for Market data
· Microsoft SQL Server
· Strong Microsoft Server OS level troubleshooting
· Market Data Terminals (Eg: Refinitiv workspace “also known as Thomson Reuters Eikon”, Bloomberg)
· Understanding network topologies e.g multicast, troubleshooting, and packet capturing and analysis
· Knowledge of financial industry terms & verbiage, and real time data
