The Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI) is a centralised platform for population health research, innovation, implementation and evaluation activities at the SingHealth Regional Health System. CPHRI aims to seamlessly leverage data and technology to guide and support population health initiatives and accelerate the implementation of research findings in care delivery and improvement.

You will assist the Research Fellow and Manager by providing secretariat support to various research meetings. You will help with developing the programme evaluation plans, engaging the programme stakeholders and coordinating meetings. You will also assist with the logistical preparation for recruitment drive. Additionally, you will be required to do data entry as well as record keeping.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Statistics, Biological Sciences, Social Science, Epidemiology with at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Good knowledge with Microsoft Office softwares
• Experience in using any statistical package (SPSS/STATA/SAS) or qualitative analysis software Nvivo
• Good verbal and written communication skill
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and in a team

The Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI) is a centralised platform for population health research, innovation, implementation and evaluation activities at the SingHealth Regional Health System. CPHRI aims to seamlessly leverage data and technology to guide and support population health initiatives and accelerate the implementation of research findings in care delivery and improvement.

You will be responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of CPHRI’s various programmes and support the operations of the centre. You will also support the conceptualisation of research and prepare grant proposals. This includes administering and managing the SingHealth Regional Health System centre grant, external funded grants and research grants awarded to CPHRI.

You will oversee research compliance and data governance as well as prepare papers, reports and other documents to update the funders, SingHealth management and other external stakeholders as required. You will be supervising and coaching junior staff. You will plan, organise and manage events such as scientific symposiums, training workshops and other related activities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in SocialScience, Life Sciences, Biostatistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, HealthEconomics or related academic area with at least 10 years of relevant experience
• Candidates with a PhD would be preferred
• Excellent project management skills with experience in managing and supervising administrative projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Adept at handling complex, ambiguous and challenging situations

The SingHealth Regional Health System (RHS) drives SingHealth’s efforts in developing and strengthening partnerships across care providers in the eastern region, both private and public, and across care settings – tertiary, primary and community care, to empower our population to keep well, get well and live well in their communities and homes. The RHS provides oversight of all care integration programmes across the cluster for all SingHealth Care Integration and Healthier SG initiatives and provides overarching strategic direction to the various programmes under its’ purview. It also provides support service development, as well as monitors and evaluates key population health initiatives.

You will support the evaluation of population health initiatives at SingHealth RHS. You will assist with developing the programme evaluation plans, engaging the programme stakeholders, coordinating meetings, performing literature review and data collection through surveys and interviews. You will support the preparation of meeting minutes, reports and manuscripts. You will also assist with planning and organizing training workshops and scientific symposiums.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Psychology, Health Sciences or any related discipline
• Experience in conducting interviews and/or focus group discussions would be preferred

You will be responsible for providing general administrative and operational support for CPHRI. You will maintain meeting schedules and coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders. You are required to provide logistical and admin support for events. You will assist with the tracking and collating surveys administered to research subjects as well as providing logistical support to research projects. You will also be involved in the procurement process and ensure that all procurements requisitions are processed smoothly and adheres to the corporate guidelines.

• Diploma in any discipline or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience in administrative work

You will support the Person-Centred Technology Core in CPHRI and work closely with the clinicians and researchers to drive the design and implementation of technology-based population health innovation and research projects. You will identify and analyse the emerging technological opportunities in alignment with the innovation needs of the Centre. You will engage and coordinate with the key internal stakeholders to align innovation strategies. You will build partnership and liaise with the key external partners on innovation projects. You will also administer and manage innovation funding, grant calls and research grants awarded to CPHRI.

You will provide technical guidance to researchers and clinicians in adopting, developing, test bedding and implementing digital tools and act as resource person for them in supporting sourcing for internal and external funding. You will prepare papers, reports and presentations to the funders, SingHealth management and external parties as required. You will supervise the junior staff and develop population health innovation capability in the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Engineering/Industrial Design/Computer Science/Information Management or related fields with at least 8 years of relevant experience
• Healthcare or industry experience would be a bonus
