The Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI) is a centralised platform for population health research, innovation, implementation and evaluation activities at the SingHealth Regional Health System. CPHRI aims to seamlessly leverage data and technology to guide and support population health initiatives and accelerate the implementation of research findings in care delivery and improvement.

You will assist the Research Fellow and Manager by providing secretariat support to various research meetings. You will help with developing the programme evaluation plans, engaging the programme stakeholders and coordinating meetings. You will also assist with the logistical preparation for recruitment drive. Additionally, you will be required to do data entry as well as record keeping.

Requirements:

You will be part of the SingHealth Duke-NUS Transplant Centre (SD Transplant Centre) team that strives to deliver value and quality work. Your main base will be at the SDTC office located at National Heart Centre Singapore but you may occasionally need to travel to SKH, SGH, and CGH for coordination purposes. You will provide general secretariat and administrative support to the SD Transplant Centre and its counterparts across various transplant programmes. These include working with diverse stakeholders within and outside SingHealth to coordinate data entry and research projects and activities. You will also be tasked with providing coordination, administrative, and logistical support for departmental and cluster-level meetings and assist with data compilation. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions and approvals, as well as assisting in organising study materials such as informed consent forms, case report forms, and study protocols. Your role will also involve coordinating communication between investigators from different institutions and research participants, and actively participating in study meetings, conferences, and trainings as required.

You will be responsible to provide grant management support as well as administration and secretariat support to the programmes and initiatives under the purview of the Office for Innovation and/or Academic Medicine Innovation Institute (AMII).

Your job responsibilities include:

KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital is the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists first formally recognised overseas training centre in this region for their overseas Subspecialty Training in Maternal and Fetal Medicine (RCOG MFM SST).

Job Description

This is a 2-year subspecialty specialist training programme. The successful trainee will spend the 1st year training in the hospitals of the SingHealth cluster at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Singapore General Hospital. This will be followed by a 2nd year training at hospitals under Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (St Mary’s Hospital and Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital) as well as King’s College Hospital. The trainee will be exposed to and trained in all the subspecialties of high-risk Obstetrics, medical complications of pregnancy and fetal medicine and fetal therapy. The trainee will benefit from being exposed to the large critical mass and multi-disciplinary specialists both in Singapore and London, United Kingdom.

This training post will commence on the 1 October 2024 in Singapore and the 2nd year will be in London, United Kingdom. At the end of these 2 years of training, the successful trainee will be a fully accredited RCOG Subspecialist in Maternal and Fetal Medicine.

By the time of the closing date of the application, the eligibility criteria for application will include:

• At least 2 years of active clinical practice as a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
• Registered with Singapore Medical Council (SMC) and Specialists Accreditation Board (SAB)
• Equipped with MRCOG postgraduate qualification

As the Manager with SingHealth's Call Centre Shared Service, ensuring that SingHealth’s call centres remain accessible to patients is key. You will be tasked to drive innovation and digitalisation, review current processes, as well as propose and operationalise strategic initiatives to improve and sustain call centre performance. You will be involved in analysing patient feedback and workload trends as part of quality improvement and performance management in the call centres to ensure excellent customer service is delivered in a timely manner. As a transplant coordinator, you are able to impact the lives of our patients and their families. You are required to identify potential donors from the pool of brain death and cardiac death in SingHealth hospitals. You will be part of the multidisciplinary team alongside the patients during their transplant journeys within our transplant programs in SingHealth. You will also support the Organ Donation Oversight Committee as a transplant advocate and assist in organ donation initiatives to create awareness to internal and external stakeholders.

You will acquire clinical knowledge (medical, surgical, human physiology and organ tissue-cell specific anatomies), be familiar with common ailments and chronic diseases and be well-versed with legislations that permit organ donation. You are required to order and understand basic interpretation of diagnostics and laboratory tests. You will perform on-call duties on a rotational basis to support the organ donation and transplant programmes.

This includes performing the preservation and storage of cadavers, planning of the disposal or cremation of used specimens, and managing the Body Donation Programme. You will assist in planning, managing and providing both logistical and technical support for clinical skills workshops and stakeholders/clients. You will oversee research compliance and data governance as well as prepare papers, reports and other documents to update the funders, SingHealth management and other external stakeholders as required. You will be supervising and coaching junior staff. You will plan, organise and manage events such as scientific symposiums, training workshops and other related activities.
